Charlie Sheen’s wife Brooke Mueller reportedly entered The Canyon rehab center in Malibu last Tuesday.

Mueller, reports TMZ, checked into rehab a day after Sheen was arraigned for a felony and two misdemeanors, steaming from the Christmas Day incident in which the “Two and a Half Men” star was accused of threatening Mueller with a knife.

At the time of Sheen’s arrest, it was noted that Mueller had been drinking prior to her 911 call.

Mueller’s checking into rehab last week, however, may help Sheen with whom she had wanted to reconcile not long after the incident.

Since the case boils down to a he said/she said, Mueller being drunk the night of the fight – and subsequently having checked into rehab – can only hinder her credibility while bolstering Sheen’s.

Charlie Sheen was just charged with one count of felony menacing and two misdemeanors; one for assault, the other for criminal mischief.

The judge loosened the restrictions of the protective order, enabling Sheen and his wife Brooke Mueller to once again be in contact. 

Sheen, however, is still not allowed to drink alcohol or possess firearms.

The couple is due back in court on March 15.

Sheen’s charges stem from the Christmas Day incident in which he allegedly threatened his wife with a knife, resulting in his arrest.

In a new post today titled, “Charlie Sheen’s Wife Recovered!” Perez Hilton breathlessly reports that Brooke Mueller is “fine,” and it’s “all systems go on their court hearing!”

He continues to get the story 100 PERCENT WRONG when he writes, “After being hospitalized yesterday with a fever and infection, Brooke Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s wife, was given a ton of antibiotics and the free pass to leave the ICU this morning.”

He adds erroneously, “Her lawyer says that she is going to be fine and now, is making final arrangements to travel to Aspen for the hearing to modify the protective order she has against Charlie on Friday.”

Really?!

NO.

The hearing is NOT tomorrow. And Mueller has NOT recovered.

In fact, the lawyers today met with the Aspen judge, who was going to decide on whether to loosen the restrictions in the protective order, and the hearing has now been pushed to February 8 because Mueller is still too ill.

No wonder Perez blocks Gossip Cop on Twitter.

UPDATE: 7:25PM -

The judge in Aspen signed an emergency order, allowing Charlie Sheen to have contact with his wife only while she remains in the hospital. However, should Brooke Mueller decide she doesn’t want to communicate with Sheen, he must cease contact immediately.

The lawyers will meet with the judge tomorrow to discuss when the protective order hearing will take place since Mueller is still battling pneumonia.

UPDATE: 6:25PM 

There are now reports Brooke Mueller‘s health has not improved enough for the protective order hearing to take place in Aspen on Friday.

Mueller is still in intensive care and her lawyer, Yale Galanter, and husband Charlie Sheen‘s lawyer, Richard Cummins, have requested that the hearing be moved to February 8, TMZ reports.

Doctors believe Mueller may have pneumonia.

According to TMZ, Brooke Mueller is in an ICU at a hospital in Sherman Oaks, California. And Charlie Sheen has rushed to her side.

The site is reporting that Mueller was taken to the hospital with a temperature of 105 degrees, and that it’s related to oral surgery she had earlier in the week.

Under the protective order, which they sought to revise in an Aspen court on Friday — stemming from Sheen allegedly threatening Mueller with a knife — the couple is not allowed to communicate. So while Sheen is visiting Mueller in the hospital, a third party will have to relate his sentiments.

Can this scenario get any crazier?

Despite the whole 911 call, the alleging Charlie Sheen threatened to kill her with a knife, and the actor being arrested because of it, Brooke Mueller and the “Two and a Half Men” star are looking to reconcile.

You read that right.

Mueller’s attorney Yale Galanter says the two remain “very much in love” and “want to try to work it out.” Sheen’s lawyer, Richard Cummins, also noted the couple wants to reconcile.

Despite the media frenzy surrounding his pending domestic violence case and daily twists, Charlie Sheen is expected to resume taping his hit sitcom “Two and a Half Men” next week, a friend of the embattled actor tells Gossip Cop.

The pal also corroborates various reports now surfacing that claim family members suggested to Sheen — before the alleged Christmas Day incident with wife Brooke Mueller that landed him in jail — that he not join her in Aspen. Sheen was “warned” not to go, says the friend, since the couple was having marital issues. The source also mentions that Mueller was aware of how much ex-wife Denise Richards received in her divorce from Sheen, and people close to the actor believed she may have been looking to exit the marriage.

Law enforcement sources say Brooke Mueller told police husband Charlie Sheen threatened her with a knife.

The charge of felony menacing with which Sheen was charged after a Christmas Day 911 call involves a deadly weapon. Sources say Mueller told police at the time that Sheen possessed a knife and had threatened her with it.

TMZ was first to report these details.

Reports also claim police on the scene “observed marks on Mueller’s body,” but it’s not known if the marks were related to a possible fight with Sheen.
