The head of the watchdog group cited in Star magazine’s cover story, linking the Kardashians to “slave labor” sweatshops, claims the report is misleading and premature.

Charles Kernaghan, who serves as executive director of the Institute for Global Labour and Human Rights, is quoted in the original piece as saying that the Kardashians are “in bed with some pretty bad people” and use factories in a region notorious for labor abuses.

But he says Star‘s huge “exclusive” tying the family to sweatshops lacks any specific evidence.
