Another Star cover, another Gossip Cop story.

This week the creative writers at Star magazine ran with a cover that read, “Jen’s Joy! Baby at Last – with Brad’s help!” And it promised, “The call that started it all,” Their Secret arrangement,” and “How Brad convinced Angie.”

Of course once you read the article, which is as real as plastic fruit, it quickly notes that Jennifer Aniston has decided she wants to be a mom, and has turned to ex-husband Brad Pitt to help her – “through the complicated, nerve-wracking adoption process.”

The tabloid claims that while recently in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico, “Jen simply made up her mind to take on the challenge of single motherhood and adopt a Mexican child.”

She made that decision while at a resort? Whatever.

Furthermore, says one of Star’s typically unnamed sources, “Brad really gave her the courage to move forward [with an adoption].”

According to Star, Aniston also recently went down to Tijuana and visited the Casa Hogar Sion orphanage – a place she’s donated money to before – and spent time with a number of babies. Now, says the mag, Aniston “has her heart set on taking home a little boy!”

The story reports that when Angelina Jolie found out about this she went bonkers – as she’s required to do in every article that mentions her, Pitt and Aniston – but it blew over.

A so-called “insider” adds, Pitt “reassured [Aniston] that she can do this alone, and that the only thing that will matter is having this little person to look after.”

It goes on and on, and even mentions that “she’s decorating a nursery at her Beverly Hills mansion.”

Heard enough?

While it’s true that Aniston has supported that orphanage in Tijuana – it’s one of her causes, and a close friend of hers is involved with the center – “Jennifer is not adopting a baby,” her rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

In Touch claims an exclusive with its cover, “Yes, They’ll Reunite,” which contends that Brad Pitt and Jennifer Aniston will get back together.

Whoa, was that a pig flying?!

Well, the tab’s “exclusive” will remain an “exclusive” because no one else would write this nonsense.

But, in fairness, let’s examine In Touch’s “proof.”

“Dan Tana’s. L’Orangerie. Katana,” begins the article, which goes on to explain that those restaurants were places that Pitt and Aniston used to frequent, and now the “Friends” star has again “become a regular at those restaurants.”

So just because she goes to those hotspots, that means they’re getting back together?

Not proof enough?

Fine.

Well then, as In Touch reports, how about “Jen’s recent gutsy trip to the One&Only Palmilla resort near Cabo San Lucas – Brad and Jen’s favorite spot in Mexico”? Yeah, real “gutsy” going to a resort and spa. 

Oddly, In Touch forgot to mention that Aniston breathes air, which she often did when married to Pitt. Maybe that, too, is a sign they’re getting back together.

The magazine also claims that, amidst reports of Pitt’s turmoil with Angelina Jolie, he and Aniston have been increasingly texting and calling each other and, says a supposed friend of hers, after spending years apart finding themselves, “They realize they need to be together.” 

Gossip Cop actually wasted spent time calling sources, who — surprise, surprise — said the story is way off base.
