“Dancing with the Stars” announced its Season 12 cast tonight, and its another diverse crop of reality stars, Hollywood actors and athletes, with a supermodel and a talk show host thrown in for good measure.

Michael Bolton, the second contestant to be bounced from “Dancing with the Stars,” was forced to hang up his shoes after a poorly received “Hound Dog” routine with partner Chelsie Hightower.

But the bigger story is how judge Bruno Tonioli critiqued Bolton’s performance.
