Gwyneth Paltrow had the enviable role of real-life sweetheart to Hollywood hunks Brad Pitt and Ben Affleck, but the experience didn’t always feel so natural.
“It was strange to be part of a public couple,” says Paltrow in an interview that aired as part of a new E! special about her.
Paltrow herself was the daughter of a “public couple” – Bruce Paltrow and Blythe Danner – although her relationships with superstars Pitt and Affleck elevated her public profile to a whole new level.
