Charlie Sheen’s 4-year-old twin boys were removed from their mother Brooke Mueller’s L.A. home late Thursday when Children and Family Services officials determined that the residence was an “unsafe environment” for kids.

Authorities reportedly came to the house with a warrant and left with Bob and Max, whom Sheen and Mueller had in 2009 while still married.

Denise Richards, Sheen’s previous ex-wife and the mother of his daughters Sam and Lola, reportedly now has the boys in her care.

Brooke Mueller was rushed to the hospital in Los Angeles on Friday.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife, who has had a long history of substance abuse, was taken from her residence to a nearby hospital shortly before noon for an alleged drug overdose, according to TMZ.

But a rep for Mueller says it was not an overdose that sent Mueller to the hospital, but exhaustion and dehydration.

Mueller, Charlie Sheen’s ex, entered treatment in December, shortly after she was arrested for cocaine possession.

A day after it was announced that Brooke Mueller would undergo outpatient rehab (at home), following her arrest for cocaine possession, Charlie Sheen’s ex has done an about-face.

In a statement to Gossip Cop, her rep says, “After further reflection and consideration, Brooke has decided to remove herself from the media spotlight and has entered a long-term in-patient treatment center where she can focus on her recovery without distraction,” adding, “She has already arrived at the facility.”

Brooke Mueller is entering outpatient rehab following her arrest for cocaine possession, Gossip Cop has confirmed.

The regimen will entail random drug testing and round-the-clock supervision.

Charlie Sheen’s ex-wife will be able to keep custody of their children under the arrangement.

Brooke Mueller was arrested on suspicion of felony cocaine possession in Aspen, Colorado on Friday.

She was also booked on a misdemeanor assault offense.

Mueller was released early Saturday on $11,000 bond.
