“Guess Who’s Coming To Broadway?!” teases Perez Hilton.

According to the blogger, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith “have been approached to play the leads in the revival of A Streetcar Named Desire!”

“Apparently, however, no deal has been set,” continues Hilton, “and the couple are still in discussions regarding the project, so it will certainly be inneresting [sic] to see what develops from this!

Let Gossip Cop save you the suspense.

Probably nothing.

A rep for Smith tells Gossip Cop that “there is no truth” to this rumor “whatsoever.”

It’s too bad. We would’ve liked to hear Smith’s “Stellaaaaa” cry.

If you hug Cameron Diaz, you might be dating her.

While that’s not such a bad thing, the theory — put forth by The Daily Mail — has a few holes.

First, the paper even admits Diaz wasn’t just hanging with the “mystery man,” but with a group of friends.

Also, it’s not out of the ordinary for friends to hug.

And then there’s that little thing about her having (ahem) a boyfriend, namely Alex Rodriguez, with whom the actress was recently spotted taking in Broadway’s “Rock Of Ages.”

The only mystery here is why the Daily Mail went with this non-story.

Ricky Martin is going from the concert stage to theater stage for a Broadway revival of “Evita.”

The singer will play Che, the show’s narrator.

Performances begin Spring 2012.

This isn’t Martin’s first trip to the Great White Way. He played Marius in “Les Miserables” in the mid-1990s.

Is life imitating art on the set of “Glee”?

According to the National Enquirer, Lea Michele “carries [her] role way too far” and has even “been blasted by her cast mates for letting the show’s popularity go to her head.”

A so-called insider claims, “Lea’s turned into the show diva” and is even “acting uppity in real life” like her character Rachel Berry.

Wait, is this the same Lea Michele whom “Glee” creator Ryan Murphy recently praised?

“Lea is the sweetest, most professional girl,” Murphy told PEOPLE earlier this week. “She’s incredibly kind and she’s always on time and she’s always with her cast hanging out. They’re all close.”

Murphy even predicted that the rumor mill would target Michele unfairly.

“I told Lea this would happen to her in July of last year. Just wait, people will start to write untruths,” he said. “I told her, ‘Keep your chin up and it just happens.”

“It’s happened to me and it’s happened to everyone. So don’t pay attention to it.’ But it’s definitely not true. Lea is great.”

Still, the Enquirer’s supposed “insider” says while “everyone on the cast is pulling together to promote” the hit series, Michele “seems to think cast appearances are beneath her.”

Wait, is this the same Lea Michele who attended both “American Idiot” on Broadway and the FOX upfront with her cast mates just this past week?

The same Lea Michele who joined her co-stars at a panel last month for the Academy of Television Arts & Sciences, as well as the show’s spring premiere event?

Hmm.

Sounds like the Enquirer can’t hit anything but flat notes.

“American Idol” winner Jordin Sparks will make her Broadway debut this summer when she joins the cast of “In The Heights” for a limited run.

During the 12-week engagement, which begins August 19, Sparks will play Nina, a young girl from Washington Heights who is the first in her family to go to college but ends up dropping out due to financial difficulties.

“It’s always been one of my dreams to perform on Broadway,” Sparks says. “This is a brand new experience for me. I look so forward to spending time in New York City and joining this talented cast and my favorite new musical.”

CBS offered Conan O’Brien the job of hosting this year’s Tony Awards, which take place in New York on June 13, confirms his rep to Gossip Cop.

The rep added that O’Brien “passed” on the gig.

However, sources say that because of O’Brien’s exit deal with NBC, which stipulated he can’t perform on TV  until September 1 – in exchange for, among other things, the nearly $45 million payout he and his former “Tonight Show” staff received – the carrot-topped comedian was unable to accept.

And while O’Brien won’t host the awards which honor Broadway shows, he will himself be taking the stage with his “Legally Prohibited From Being Funny on Television Tour,” beginning April 12 in Eugene, Oregon.

“EXCLUSIVE: Paula Abdul To Star In Broadway Show,” screamed a headline from RadarOnline, which went on to claim, “The former American Idol judge is going to make her Broadway debut in the 2008 Tony Award winning musical, In The Heights.”

The site quoted a so-called “inside source” as saying, “Paula will take over for Priscilla Lopez in one of the leading roles. It’s always been Abdul’s dream to star on Broadway.”

Very interesting, but not very factual.

Gossip Cop reached out to the producers of the show, and was told straight up, “It isn’t true.”

A woman screamed during a performance of “A View From The Bridge” in New York last night, and lead actor Liev Schreiber rushed to the aid of her ailing husband.

The lights came up after the woman in the audience began crying for help. Her husband was slumped over in his seat.

An eyewitness tells TMZ Schreiber “sprung to action,” running from behind the set to the man’s seat to assist. A doctor in the house provided medical attention until paramedics took the man from the theater. The theatergoer was reportedly conscious and responsive.

Schreiber stars alongside Scarlett Johansson in the Arthur Miller play. He’s also appeared in the Scream film trilogy and X-Men Origins: Wolverine.

He has two children with Naomi Watts.

Yesterday, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie whisked their kids  — minus  17-month-old twins Knox and Vivienne — into a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious matinee of “Mary Poppins” on Broadway.

The couple, along with Maddox, Pax, Zahara, and Shiloh, quickly jumped out of a vehicle to avoid New York’s freezing temperatures and rushed into the theater.

The Pitt-Jolie brood have been in New York for the past two weeks while the actress finishes production of her film, “Salt.”

While having his latest TV show, “Hank,” canceled was a drag, Kelsey Grammer has now signed on to star next spring in “La Cage aux Folles” on Broadway.

The original musical, which later became the basis for the film, “The Birdcage,” centers around the relationship between a club owner – to be played by Grammer – and his partner, who is the main attraction of the venue’s drag show.

The show begins on April 18, and don’t be surprised if Grammer walks away with a Tony. When the play debuted in 1983 it won six statuettes.

Despite Katie Holmes and Tom Cruise being perfectly content together when they have time off from their respective films, “The Romantics” and “Knight & Day,” In Touch seems hell-bent on tearing the two apart. 

The magazine’s cover this week declares, “Katie Moves Out,” and claims “a heated argument ends with Katie packing her bags.”

Not surprisingly, there isn’t one sentence in the six-page article that describes how she moved out of their home.

Oh Gossip Cop and our wacky attention to details — and accuracy.

Anyway, according to In Touch, on November 17 — a day before their third wedding anniversary — Cruise made a surprise visit to the Long Island, New York set of Holmes’ film, and inside her trailer, says the magazine’s source, the couple had “a real blowout.” 

Over what?

In Touch claims “Katie’s had it with Tom’s domineering ways — and she can no longer relate to his movie-star lifestyle,” which includes shopping at the best stores and eating at the finest restaurants. It was that supposed fight, says a Holmes “pal,” that “cemented a decision she’d been mulling for days: To stay in New York — alone — after the movie shoot is through.”

The magazine further reports that “another pal of Katie’s” says Holmes is “so eager for her new life in New York to start that’s she’s begun to gradually pack her bags to make NYC her permanent bicoastal address.”

Of course, to cover themselves when Holmes doesn’t leave Cruise after filming ends, In Touch throws in the last line, “if he wants to save his marriage, he certainly has his work cut out for him.”

Actually, Gossip Cop thinks In Touch has its work cut out for them.

Sources says talk of marital strife between Holmes and Cruise has been somewhat exaggerated. And Holmes’ rep didn’t waste six pages. She succinctly told Gossip Cop that In Touch‘s cover story is “not true.”

Yes, it’s true that Sienna Miller and Jude Law are both in New York, performing on Broadway, but this is the last time we are going to say this – there is currently no second act between the two.

A little more than a week ago Gossip Cop shot down rumors that Law and Miller had rekindled, and yet our good friends as Us Weekly for some reason have reignited the rumored romance with a piece titled, “Jude & Sienna: On!”

According to an Us source, the former flames are “hooking up.” A “second source” adds, “they are fooling around again.”

Gossip Cop isn’t sure who Us Weekly’s sources are, but we are fairly certain they are mistaken. While Law and Miller have seen each other, mostly because she’s starring in “After Miss Julie” with Law’s best buddy Jonny Lee Miller, they have NOT reconnected. Law’s rep reiterated to Gossip Cop that talk of them “hooking up” is “not true.” 

However, and it’s a BIG however, it wouldn’t surprise us, based on the frequency in which they’ve recently seen each other, if they begin dating again since the two have residual feelings for one another.

In a piece titled, “Sienna and Jude bark together,” the Sun reports that Sienna Miller and Jude Law had a reunion recently at a party thrown by Jonny Lee Miller, who stars opposite Sienna in the Broadway play, “After Miss Julie,” and is also a good buddy of Law, who’s currently on Broadway as well in “Hamlet.”

According to the paper, the two stars were “delighted” to see each other when “Johnny Lee Miller… staged a bash for his co-star’s dog Bess, which has just recovered from a kidney infection.” 

And what a delightful dog tail, er, tale it is. Gossip Cop, however, has a bone or two to pick. The dog that Sienna now has is not named “Bess” – it’s named “Porgy.” Close. And her co-star spells his name “Jonny,” not “Johnny.”

While we were already skeptical of this alleged pooch party story, Sienna’s rep told Gossip Cop, “Someone made this up.” And not well either.

Is Scarlett Johansson, who last year released the album, “Anyway I Lay My Head,” and who recently performed with Pete Yorn, heading to Broadway for a revival of the musical “Promises, Promises?”

 A number of outlets, like Perez Hilton, are reporting the rumor, even though there’s no theater, no scheduled dates, or anything else tangible.

“Scoop” Hilton writes, “Originally Anna Hathaway was said to be taking the leading lady role of Fran the waitress, but it appears Mrs. Ryan Reynolds is now on the table.”

Really?!

Well, without getting into how Perez also insulted Johansson as a singer, all we’ll say is that her rep told Gossip Cop that not only is there “absolutely no truth to this” tale about her performing on the Great White Way, but also “she has not been approached about this project.”

Perez, once again, must have gotten something “Lost in Translation.”
