Simon Monjack reportedly shared a bed with Brittany Murphy’s mom after the actress died, say investigators.

In the L.A. Coroner’s report on Monjack’s own death, an unidentified individual allegedly showed an investigator Murphy and Monjack’s bedroom. At one point, she is said to have pointed and referred to half of the bed as “her side of the bed.”

Sources tell TMZ the individual is Sharon Murphy, Brittany’s mother.

Now Sharon Murphy is denying the reports by TMZ and others that investigators are looking into toxic mold at the home shared by Brittany Murphy and Simon Monjack.

“I have never been personally asked by the coroner or anyone from the Health Department to come and inspect my home for mold,” she says.

She calls the speculation “absurd.”

Brittany Muphy’s husband Simon Monjack was found dead late last night in the Hollywood Hills home he once shared with the “Clueless” actress.

Murphy’s mother, Sharon Murphy, found Monjack unresponsive in his bedroom, and called 911.

Shortly after arriving, paramedics pronounced Monjack dead.

Just eleven days before she died, Brittany Murphy was prescribed 120 hydrocodone pills, better known as Vicodin, to be taken no more than four times daily.

According to authorities, only 11 pills remained when Murphy was found.

Now the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office cannot find the physician who prescribed the Vicodin.

The office of the Los Angeles County Coroner has released a report showing which drugs were in Brittany Murphy’s system when the actress died. According to the report, “Multiple medications were present in the blood, with elevated levels of hydrocodone, acetaminophen, and chlorpheniramine. L-methamphetamine was also present.” Also, 24 empty prescription bottles – for a variety of ailments and conditions – were found at the scene.

According to the L.A. County Coroner, Brittany Murphy’s cause of death has been determined.

It was caused by community acquired pneumonia, iron deficiency anemia, and multiple drug intoxication.

Simon Monjack, the late Brittany Murphy’s husband, is suing Warner Brothers for wrongful death.
Monjack claims the studio is responsible for Murphy’s death in December, believing the cancellation of her contract for a sequel to Happy Feet triggered a heart attack, according to a new interview.
