UPDATED 12:15 AM — Brittany Murphy had been severely ill and vomiting shortly before suffering cardiac arrest. Prescription medication had been found in her home, but what role the meds played in the death of the 32-year-old actress has yet to be determined. As Gossip Cop first reported, an autopsy is slated for as early as later today or tomorrow.
