Billy Ray Cyrus will officially become a published author next year with the release of his memoir, Hillbilly Heart.

The book, to be published in the spring of 2013 by Amazon.com, will feature Cyrus discussing his life with “great candor,” the company said.

Cyrus, whose country singing career included the well-known hit “Achy Breaky Heart,” will delve into detail about his rise to fame as well as parenting teen superstar Miley Cyrus.

The young singer released her own memoir, Miles To Go, in 2009.

Miley Cyrus‘ 19th birthday party video, in which she talked about being “a stoner,” was parodied in another installment of “The Miley Cyrus Show” on “Saturday Night Live.”

In the sketch, Cyrus jokes on her show about how “You know you smoke too much f’n weed when your friends get you a Bob Marley cake.”

She then tries to tell a monologue joke, but is too wasted — as she scarfs down Dorito’s.

“Miley Cyrus Show” bandleader Billy Ray Cyrus then interjects “You’re like a funny little Cheech Marin,” referencing the star of the stoner “Cheech & Chong” films.

Cyrus’ first guest is then a guy named “Jeff” she met at “Burning Man,” followed by a psychedelic music video the two made.

After that, Billy Ray introduces Whitney Houston (played by SNL alum Maya Rudolph), who is on “The Miley Cyrus Show” to “warn against the dangers of drug use.”

A video has emerged from Miley Cyrus‘ 19th birthday bash at the Roosevelt Hotel in L.A. on November 23, and in it the singer-actress is presented with a cake that references legendary marijuana-smoking singer Bob Marley.

Cyrus takes a look at the cake and jokes in front of the crowd, which includes her parents Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus, “You know you’re a stoner when friends make you a Bob Marley cake — you know you smoke way too much f***in’ weed.”

Kelly Osbourne then adds, “I thought salvia was your problem.”

Not surprisingly, a bunch of blogs are jumping on the video to claim Cyrus openly admits to being a “stoner.”

But Osbourne quickly took to Twitter today to say it was all “a joke.”

Osbourne writes, “let me make something very clear after @MileyCyrus salvia incident we started calling her bob miley as a JOKE! the cake was also A JOKE! it makes me sick that @MileyCyrus so called ‘friends’ would sell her out and lead people 2 believe she is someone that she is not!”

Osbourne adds that Cyrus is “recording/filming/touring” every day, and asks, “how could she possible do all that if she was a stoner”?

Miley Cyrus celebrated Thanksgiving with her family and boyfriend Liam Hemsworth on Thursday, and her mom Tish tweeted a photo (below) of the whole crew filling their plates.

From left to right, the picture shows Billy Ray Cyrus, Hemsworth, Braison Cyrus, Noah Cyrus, Trace Cyrus, family friend Britt, Brenda Song, Brandi Cyrus and Miley.

Being together for the holiday was undoubtedly very special for the family, considering last year at this time Tish and Billy Ray were separated and planning to divorce.

Now, the parents are happily reconciled, their son Trace is engaged to Song, and Miley and Hemsworth appear to be better than ever.

Miley Cyrus joined her parents Billy Ray and Tish along with little sister Noah for a family outing yesterday in Los Angeles.

The Cyrus clan looked like one big happy family as they picked up some java at Coffee Bean in Toluca Lake, California.

This is the first time Miley has been seen publicly with her father since he spoke to GQ about her in February, in an interview where he blamed “Hannah Montana” for destroying his family.

Billy Ray recently withdrew his petition to divorce Tish, saying on “The View,” “I want to put my family back together.”

In the same interview, he described his relationship with his superstar daughter as “the best it’s ever been.”

Tish Cyrus is echoing her husband Billy Ray‘s belief that their family has been through a rough period but now finds itself in a really good place.

In a Facebook message, Miley‘s mom thanks “all of our family, friends, and fans who have kept us in their thoughts and prayers.

“I feel so blessed to have so much support from all of you,” continues Cyrus. “Our family has weathered a huge storm and I feel we are stronger than we have ever been!”

“Much love to all of you guys! [You're] the BEST.”

The Cyruses filed for divorce back in October, but Billy Ray announced last week that the couple had decided to reconcile.

“I’ve dropped the divorce,” he revealed during an appearance on “The View.”

“I want to put my family back together.”

A petition to withdraw the divorce was filed officially on March 11.

The infamous and long-delayed Bret Michaels-Miley Cyrus “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” duet may be coming soon.

Their rendition of the Poison ballad was meant to be released last year, before rumors surfaced alleging that Michaels had an affair with Cyrus’ mom Tish.

Michaels vehemently denies any such relationship.

The would-be scandal came in the wake of Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus filing for divorce, an action they reversed last week.

In the same period since “Every Rose Has Its Thorn” was due to drop, Miley Cyrus stirred controversy with a video that showed her (legally) smoking salvia.

Now Michaels tells E! he expects the single to be released this summer.

One day after news broke that Billy Ray Cyrus called off his divorce from Tish Cyrus, documents making it official have surfaced.

Miley‘s dad filed to withdraw his petition for divorce in Williamson County, Tennessee on March 11, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

A judge signed off on the order of nonsuit and dismissal, which declares that “the parties are attempting a reconciliation.”

Explaining his decision on an episode of “The View” due to air today, Cyrus says, “I want to put my family back together” and describes his relationship with his superstar daughter as “the best it’s ever been.”

Miley Cyrus‘ parents may be getting back together.

During an interview for “The View” scheduled to air tomorrow, Billy Ray Cyrus reveals to the hosts, “I’ve dropped the divorce.”

“I want to put my family back together,” adds Cyrus.

When asked how things are between him and Tish Cyrus now, Billy Ray says, “I think for the first time me and my entire family are finally communicating with each other in a way that [it hasn't been] for quite some time, and to answer your question, things are really the best they’ve ever been.”

His relationship with Miley seems to be especially strong these days.

“The best it’s ever been. I feel like I kind of got my Miley back in a way. I feel like we are the daddy and the daughter that we were before ‘Hannah Montana’ happened. Our communication, we have laughed a lot in the last couple of days.”

The famous father also clears up some heated comments he made to GQ magazine, in which he declared “Hannah Montana” “destroyed my family.”

On “The View,” Cyrus sets the record straight.

“I don’t think ‘Hannah Montana’ ruined my family,” he says. “I love ‘Hannah Montana.’ I love Disney. That didn’t tear my family apart. Now fame, fame is a different animal. You’ve got to be careful with that thing.”

Billy Ray and Tish Cyrus announced that they’d filed for divorce in a joint statement last October.

“Miley goes on a wild shopping spree,” reads a headline from In Touch about Miley Cyrus.

According to the tab, “Miley dropped more than $500,000 on fractional ownership of a private jet, and hundreds of thousands more on clothes, jewelry and furniture.”

In Touch quotes a so-called “friend” of Cyrus, saying her dad “Billy Ray kept Miley on a very short leash when it came to her spending habits, but now that she is an adult and has some control, she’s blowing through money pretty fast.”

The “friend” claims Cyrus has “already spent more than $1 million this year and it’s only March.”

A source close to Cyrus tells Gossip Cop that the In Touch story is “completely bogus,” noting she spends a normal amount on clothes and “does not own a private plane.”

Billy Ray Cyrus says he deeply regrets letting Miley star on “Hannah Montana.”

“It destroyed my family. I’ll tell you right now – the damn show destroyed my family,” the country singer tells GQ in an explosive interview.

Cyrus, who earlier this year filed for divorce from Tish, his wife of 13 years, says he wishes the show had never happened.

“I’d take it back in a second. For my family to be here and just be everybody okay, safe and sound and happy and normal, would have been fantastic,” he laments.

“I was going to work every single day knowing that my family had fallen apart, but yet I had to sit in front of that camera,” adds Cyrus, who also starred on the hit series.

He says he took the blame for Miley’s scandals, such as the infamous bong incident and the racy Vanity Fair photo shoot, “because I’m her daddy, and that’s what daddies do,” but he confesses he’s now “scared” for his daughter.

“She’s got a lot of people around her that’s putting her in a great deal of danger,” says the “Achy Breaky Heart” singer, who was unhappy she held 18th birthday at a bar.

“I should have said, ‘Enough is enough – it’s getting dangerous and somebody’s going to get hurt’ . . . Honestly, I didn’t know the ball was out of bounds until it was way up in the stands somewhere.”

According to Star magazine, Billy Ray Cyrus and Tish Cyrus are “back on!”

The tabloid’s “insider” claims Miley‘s parents are on the road to reconciliation after having announced their divorce in October.

“They’ve mellowed and are reaching an understanding,” says Star‘s source, who references Tish’s alleged affair with Bret Michaels (the one that never happened).

“Tish knows she screwed up big time by getting too close to Bret,” adds the Star “insider.”

Unfortunately for the tabloid, the supposed Michaels fling is phony, but the Cyrus split is very real.

According to the story, which was picked up by the equally unreliable Perez Hilton, a “confrontation erupted after Billy Ray tried to ground his super-star daughter Miley for talking back to him, and Tish intervened.”

After finding out that Tish had allegedly “given Miley permission to go out, Billy Ray went berserk with anger,” reports the tab.

The Enquirer quotes a so-called “insider” who claims “Tish locked herself in her bedroom to escape Bill Ray’s wrath. And he pounded on the door screaming: ‘Come out here and talk to me b****!’”

That supposed fight, says the magazine, “was the last straw for Billy Ray,” and led to him filing for divorce after 17 years of marriage.

Really?

No.

In fact, not only does a rep for Miley tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer piece is “not true,” but the spokesperson also stresses that the fight “never happened.”

Bret Michaels denied a rumored affair with Tish Cyrus during a “Fox & Friends” appearance this morning.

Asked whether he and Cyrus were ever more than just friends, Michaels replied, “The answer is no.”

Tish and Billy Ray Cyrus , parents of superstar Miley Cyrus, announced last month that they’d filed for divorce after 17 years of marriage.

Shortly thereafter, a tabloid reported that Tish Cyrus and Michaels had begun a romantic affair when he and Miley Cyrus worked together professionally.

“When I was in the studio, Miley came in and sang on my song, a song I wrote for my album ‘Custom Built,’ and she came over and sang on that and honestly, she did a beautiful job, and that was it,” said Michaels.

“Then they started with all the controversy.”

In the midst of personal turmoil, Billy Ray Cyrus has secured an inspiring new job.

Cyrus is set to host a new TLC limited series called “Homecoming,” which will show soldiers surprising their families with unexpected reunions.

Viewers will watch the unfiltered emotional reaction as military personnel return home to their loved ones.

“We look forward to honoring our service men and women, and celebrating in the unmatched moment when they are reunited with their families,” said network president Eileen O’Neill in a statement.

Three one-hour episodes have been ordered. No premiere date has been set, although it is expected to launch in spring 2011.

The couple first broke up back in August. Gossip Cop was the first to report the news.

The pair quickly reconciled.

Days ago, Gossip Cop heard that Cyrus and Hemsworth had split once more, but waited to confirm with more sources.

We’re told there was no dramatic blowout, but that the writing was on the wall for a while.

“Miley Blamed in Parents’ $100 Million Divorce,” reads the headline of a piece in the National Enquirer.

The tab claims “Miley Cyrus‘ blockbuster success ripped apart her parents’ marriage.”

How so?

“The fight over Miley is what tore Tish and Billy Ray apart. They can’t agree on how to raise her, and it’s wrecked their marriage,” says an unnamed “insider,” who adds, “Billy Ray thinks Miley is becoming a spoiled-brat monster – and he thinks it’s all Tish’s fault.”

The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer allegedly thinks his wife is “too permissive and never says no to Miley.”

Wait…

It’s all Tish’s fault because she’s supposedly not strict enough with one of their six combined kids?

Well, that’s mostly the Enquirer‘s take, though toward the end of the piece, for good measure, the tabloid adds there have been jealousy issues from both spouses.

“Tish has long struggled with jealousy issues concerning Billy Ray’s female fans,” and “the intimacy between Tish and Bret [Michaels] was pretty evident to Billy Ray,” notes the mag.

For the record, there’s nothing going on between Tish and Michaels. A rep for the Poison singer told Gossip Cop yesterday that claims of an affair were “untrue.”

As for the Enquirer‘s allegations that the couple is splitting because Tish isn’t enough of a disciplinarian, and both spouses have jealousy concerns, a rep for Tish tells Gossip Cop, “None of it is true.”

OK, but how much of it is inaccurate from Billy Ray’s perspective?

“The whole thing is wrong,” the singer’s rep tells Gossip Cop.

According to Us Weekly, Billy Ray Cyrus found out about the alleged fling, leading to the couple’s announcement last week that they plan to divorce.

Perez Hilton is definitely three things — late, crude, and wrong.

“Living In Sin! MileyBird Is Sharing Her Nest With Liam!” reads the headline of a post by the bad blogger about Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

He then snarkily scribbles, “We wouldn’t expect anything less from our skanky little MileyBird!”

According to Perez’s inaccurate story, a so-called “source” reveals, “Liam has been staying with Miley. They’re attempting to make their relationship work without the madness of the paparazzi, so they’re picking and choosing the moments to be photographed in public.”

Sound familiar?

It should. Perez picked up the same story – even the same quotes – from the equally unreliable HollywoodLife.

Addressing the singer’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, Perez then mocks, “Letting your 17 year old live in sin with her boyfriend?!” before inappropriately adding, “Who wants to take bets that Liam will knock her up before she turns 18??”

In addition to Perez’s piece being old and crass, it’s 100 PERCENT WRONG.

As Cyrus’ rep exclusively told Gossip Cop,“They don’t live together.”

And, as a Hemsworth insider also noted, while the two are back together, he has his own home.

When it comes to Miley Cyrus, the National Enquirer is consistent.

Consistently wrong.

In its latest attempt, the tab claims the singer’s dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, “begged” her boyfriend Liam Hemsworth “to move back in with her — because he thinks his out-of-control 17-year-old daughter needs a baby sitter!”

Backtracking from its inaccurate story last month that Billy Ray blamed Hemsworth for Cyrus’ “wild child antics,” the Enquirer now claims that, though Cyrus’ dad “initially disapproved” of her beau living with her, “he’s reconsidered.”

According to the tab’s so-called source, Cyrus’ parents believe “Liam has a calming influence on their daughter.”

And, as a result, Billy Ray “begged Liam to go back to Miley,” and “was relieved when Liam agreed to move back in.”

Of course, the problem, as Gossip Cop noted back in January, is that the tabloid was wrong about Cyrus and Hemsworth ever living together in the first place.

A rep for both Miley and Billy Ray Cyrus tells Gossip Cop the Enquirer’s latest tale is “not true at all,” reiterating that Hemsworth “never lived there,” and that the supposed conversation between the young actor and Billy Ray “never happened.”
