When a sign began flashing to alert Armstrong that he had one minute left to perform, he stopped singing and expressed his frustration with an explicit rant that referenced Justin Bieber.

Billie Joe Armstrong was rushed to the hospital over the weekend, forcing Green Day to cancel a concert in Italy.

The frontman’s band mates, Mike Dirnt and Tre Cool, released a short video message explaining that Armstrong was hospitalized “due to illness.”

Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day claims he was kicked off a plane due to saggy pants.

The rocker and a traveling companion were both removed from the Southwest Airlines flight from Oakland to Burbank on Thursday night when he refused an attendant’s request that he pull his trousers higher.

According to a local news producer on the flight, passengers were already seated when the flight attendant approached Armstrong and asked him to fix his pants, to which he allegedly replied, “Don’t you have better things to do than worry about that?”

Armstrong tweeted his frustration, writing, “Just got kicked off a southwest flight because my pants sagged too low! What the f*ck? No joke!”
