Giuliana Rancic has revealed that she has breast cancer.

The red carpet host and reality star shared the news this morning on the “Today Show” while discussing her attempts to start a family with husband Bill Rancic through in-vitro fertilization.

“Through my attempt to get pregnant for the third time, we sadly found out that I have early stages of breast cancer,” said Rancic. “It’s been a shock. A lot of people have been asking, ‘We saw that you went and got IVF, are you pregnant?’ But sadly, we’ve had to put that off.”

LeAnn Rimes is firing back at Giuliana Rancic after the “E! News” host criticized the singer’s weight loss in a recent interview with the Huffington Post.

Rancic and her husband Bill are opening a restaurant in Chicago – where Rimes is living temporarily while her husband Eddie Cibrian films “The Playboy Club” – and mentioned Rimes as one of the celebrities she’d like to feed at the eatery.

“She lost a lot of weight from all the stress in her life,” said Rancic. “She seems a little thin right now, and I think she looks great when she’s a bit curvier.” Rimes was not pleased with the remarks.
