A glowing Jennifer Garner covers the January issue of InStyle, dishing on her seven-year marriage to Ben Affleck, their two adorable daughters and her current pregnancy.

The actress says of her relationship with Affleck, “I don’t know how or why it works as well as it does… We both know we couldn’t do what we do without each other.”

“Honestly, I would do anything for that man, because I know it’s not taken for granted,” adds Garner.

And although the couple is as low-key as one can be in Hollywood, the actress says her husband knows a thing or two about romance.

“He knows when to swoop in with the gesture. He’s sweet that way,” she tells the mag.

As for her pregnancy, Garner says she’s trying to be “mindful” about her weight gain, but admits it’s been tough to avoid certain food cravings.

“My kids had never seen Doritos before. They would say, ‘Mom, where did you get that orange chip? I really want that.’”

Garner says, “I wish I was one of those cute pregnant girls who wear skinny jeans throughout their pregnancies. But I just gain weight.”

The January issue hits newsstands on Friday.

Ben Affleck will direct best friend Matt Damon and co-star with him in a movie about legendary gangster Whitey Bulger.

Damon is set to play Bulger, Boston’s most notorious organized crime figure.

Affleck and Damon will also produce the film.

Casey Affleck, who worked with his brother and Damon on their smash breakthrough Good Will Hunting, is expected to act in the project.

Bulger, who partly inspired The Departed (also starring Damon), was arrested last June after evading the FBI for more than 15 years.

Besides their successful co-starring turns in Good Will Hunting, Damon and Affleck appeared together in Dogma.

Jennifer Lopez got emotional about lost loves during a show at Mohegan Sun on Saturday night, breaking down in tears after a dance performance meant to evoke her past relationships.

After singing “If You Had My Love,” Lopez told the sold-out audience, “That’s the first song I wrote about love. And this is the last song I wrote about love. A lot has happened since then.”

As she belted out “Until It Beats No More,” the “American Idol” judge was joined by dancers made to look like exes including Diddy, Cris Judd, Ben Affleck and soon-to-be ex-husband Marc Anthony.

Describing the performance to the audience as a “trip down memory lane,” Lopez teared up and began to cry.

The crowd responded with a standing ovation.

HollywoodLife, one of the Internet’s best sources for unintentional comedy, has really outdone itself with an article today that claims Angelina Jolie has admitted to having an “open relationship” with Brad Pitt.

The site makes a weird attempt to link this week’s non-scandal with Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith to Jolie and Pitt by suggesting that there are “no restrictions” on their relationship, which is why Pitt can “get away flirting with” World War Z assistant Lara Marsden.

HollywoodLife is “connecting the dots” because Jolie supposedly “tells Germany’s Das Neue Blatt magazine they have no restrictions on their relationship!”

“I doubt that fidelity is absolutely essential for a relationship,” HollywoodLife quotes Jolie as telling the German mag. “It’s worse to leave your partner and talk badly about him afterwards. Neither Brad nor I have ever claimed that living together means to be chained together. We make sure that we never restrict each other.”

Um, a couple of things right off the bat.

First, Jolie never gave those quotes.

Second, Gossip Cop busted the interview way back in 2009.

But what’s most hilarious about this HollywoodLife piece isn’t that it’s both wrong and two years old – it’s that the site is pondering whether Jolie’s “open marriage” is proving to “be too much for her” when it comes to Marsden.

Jolie and Pitt’s relationship, of course, is neither “open” nor a “marriage,” which we realize must be difficult for HollywoodLife to grasp.

After all, this is the site that fondly remembers Jennifer Lopez‘s imaginary “wedding” to Ben Affleck.

Details aren’t its strong suit.

To recap, HollywoodLife theorizes that Jolie’s non-existent, non-timely interview admitting her non-existent open “marriage” is now at odds with her non-existent rage over Pitt’s non-existent romantic relationship with Lara Marsden, who does exist, but these days must sometimes wish she didn’t.

We here at Gossip Cop would like to congratulate HollywoodLife on having an “open relationship” with facts. After all, being faithful to reality can be a real drag.

The couple released a statement tonight saying they’re “thrilled” to have another baby on the way.

Garner and Affleck, who were married in 2005, have two daughters – 5-year-old Violet and 2-year-old Seraphina.

No other details about Garner’s new pregnancy were revealed.

The site then writes that Pitt and Jolie “just moved the family to a mansion in Scotland while he’s filming World War Z, and we think it’s because Angelina continues to be annoyed by her man’s interaction with a hot production assistant!”

Uh, huh…

According to the blog that did a piece a few days ago about when Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married – uh, they were NEVER married – Brangelina have squabbled repeatedly about this cute on-set distraction, and new pictures taken on August 19 don’t show Brad using any more discretion!”

What?!

Jolie moved to Scotland with Pitt simply because the family likes to spend time together. That’s all.

And why would Pitt need to show “discretion?” The “brunette” is a production assistant, who is working on his film. That’s all.

HollywoodLife created this fake indiscretion a month ago, and is now trying to perpetuate it.

Pitt and Jolie’s relationship is great. HollywoodLife’s reporting is awful.

HollywoodLife never ceases to embarrass itself when it comes to reporting about celebrities, and today was no exception with its headline that read, ”Are Kim K and Kris Humphries Getting Married At The Same Home Where J. Lo & Ben Affleck Tied The Knot?”

Wait… what?!

Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were NEVER married.

Not leaving bad enough alone, the blog further notes that the home where Kim Kardashian and Kris Humphries are reportedly getting married on Saturday is “the same estate where Ben and Jen got married,” and asks, “Is this bad luck?”

Well, it’s certainly bad reporting.

And just to reinforce that it knows nothing about Hollywood, the site writes, “Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married in a lavish wedding in Montecito, Calif. in Sept. 2001 — and we all know how that worked out. The handsome pair divorced each other only two years later.”

Again, Lopez and Affleck were NEVER EVER married.

And HollywoodLife will NEVER be known for its reporting.

Jennifer Lopez opens up to Vanity Fair for the first time since her split with Marc Anthony.

The “American Idol” judge tells the September issue of the magazine, “I really worked hard at [the marriage]. We both did.”

Still, she acknowledges, “Sometimes it doesn’t work — and that’s sad.

Nevertheless, says Lopez, “I remain an eternal optimist about love. I believe in love… It’s still my biggest dream. I am positive — determined to move forward with my life, bring up my babies, and do the best job I can as a mother, entertainer, and person. I now look forward to new challenges. I feel strong.”

The singer-actress, who also touches on exes Diddy and Ben Affleck in the article, adds, “I’m a hopeless romantic and passionate person when it comes to love,” but explains, “It’s not that I didn’t love myself before. Sometimes we don’t realize that we are compromising ourselves. To understand that a person is not good for you, or that that person is not treating you in the right way, or that he is not doing the right thing for himself — if I stay, then I am not doing the right thing for me. I love myself enough to walk away from that now.”

Lopez tells Vanity Fair, “I will always respect Marc as a singer and performer… We actually work great together, and he was always very supportive. Together we could make magic — and we did. He will always be in our lives. He will always hold a special place in my heart as the father of my children.”

The issue hits newsstands later this week.

Oh boy.

According to the tab, “In the wake of [the Lopez-Anthony] split – and amid rumors of marital strife between Ben and his wife, Jennifer Garner – some J. Lo pals are wondering: Is the stage set for Bennifer, take two?”

Why might the “stage” be “set”?

“They’re talking,” declares OK!, which cites a so-called “Lopez colleague” as confirming, “They’ve spoken more than once.”

Uh-huh.

Meanwhile, the core of the magazine’s cover story appears to be that Lopez’s mom, Guadalupe, really likes Affleck.

“They were like best friends when Ben was engaged to J. Lo,” explains a so-called “insider.” “He and Guadalupe were drinking and gambling buddies.”

Hold on.

Let’s get this straight.

Affleck, who’s been happily married to Jennifer Garner for 6 years and has two children with her, is supposedly on the verge of getting back together with Lopez, whom he hasn’t dated since 2004, because he… likes to go gambling with her mom?

This is just ridiculous.

As soon as her marriage broke up, the rumor mill started picking through Lopez’s former beaus and throwing superstar names out there just for attention.

But just as there’s nothing going on between Lopez and Diddy, there’s no romantic reunion with Affleck.

“None of it is true,” a source close to Affleck assures Gossip Cop, while a Lopez rep dismisses the OK! cover as “inaccurate.”

The blogger writes, “While walking in Santa Monica yesterday, [Affleck's] hair was just too drastic to ignore, getting into his face and getting so close to The Biebs’ signature look, we started to fear he might be going through a midlife crisis.”

Perez persists, “Is that it Ben? Did you find a few grey hairs and now you’re trying to recapture your youth??? Your hair does look darker!”

Oh, Perez.

If the blogger had bothered to investigate, he’d know that Affleck’s new hairstyle is for a movie role.

A rep for the actor confirms to Gossip Cop, “Ben’s new haircut is for Argo – his next movie.”

“Ben & Jen’s MARRIAGE BLOWUP,” reads a headline from Star magazine, which claims Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s marriage is “on the brink” after she discovered “he’s been secretly gambling and boozing.”

The mag reported last week that Affleck competed in high-stakes poker games with other Hollywood stars, and that Garner supposedly had “no idea” of her husband’s alleged secret life, and is now “reeling” from the revelations.

According to the tab, Garner’s also worried about Affleck’s sobriety. The actor went to rehab for alcohol in 2001, four years before they married.

“Jennifer is terrified that his history of gambling, drinking and womanizing is catching up with him,” says the mag.

Adds a so-called “source”: “If things get worse, Jen could be a single mom.”

Whoa… those are some pretty explosive claims.

Fortunately for the couple, absolutely NONE of this is true.

A rep for Affleck assures Gossip Cop the tab’s story is “false” and all “lies.”

Affleck and Garner are doing perfectly fine, and were recently photographed looking smitten at a Fourth of July parade in L.A.

Once again, Star gambles — and loses.

Very true.

Ben Affleck is reportedly in talks to join The Great Gatsby as Tom Buchanan, husband to Carey Mulligan‘s Daisy Buchanan.

Leonardo DiCaprio is set to play the title role, with Tobey Maguire taking the part of narrator Nick Carraway.

In order to sign on to the project, The Town director Affleck would have to work around his next directing job, a film about the 1979 Iran hostage crisis called Argo.

Scheduling is the biggest obstacle to Affleck’s participation, according to THR.

Baz Luhrmann plans to film the new Gatsby in 3D.

With the imminent arrival of Water for Elephants in theaters, there will be a spike in Robert Pattinson rumors (not that they ever really go away), and one that’s gained steam this week claims the actor could be up for the title role in an upcoming Daredevil reboot.

Ben Affleck starred as the blind superhero (and alter ego Matt Murdock) in a 2003 movie.

So what prompted these new rumors of Pattinson possibly taking over the part?

Well, his The Twilight Saga: Eclipse director David Slade was just announced as the director for the new Daredevil project. That development led many sites to speculate that Slade plans to recruit his former leading man as the hero.

It turns out, however, that there’s no truth to the buzz about Pattinson donning the tight red costume when the Daredevil character is reborn.

“Don’t know who dreams these stories up,” a source close to Pattinson tells Gossip Cop.

In Touch says Blake Lively and Leighton Meester are feuding on the set of “Gossip Girl,” and the tension between them is “going into overdrive.”

According to a supposed insider on the show’s set, Lively and Meester are clashing because they “are complete opposites.”

“Blake is a huge diva! She sees herself as the star of the show” whereas Meester is “pretty low-key,” says an “eyewitness.”

Lively has a big head now that “she’s done a movie with Ben Affleck and another with Ryan Reynolds,” claims the “insider,” who notes, “She’s talking about leaving the show.”

And things have become so bad on the set that the co-stars “totally avoid each other between takes,” adds the source.

Wow, sounds like there’s more drama off-camera than on the show itself.

The story, however, is 100% false.

A source close to Meester calls the report “ridiculous,” while a Lively source tells Gossip Cop, ”It’s so untrue.”

Once again, the rumor that B(lair) and S(erena) are real-life frenemies is actually… B.S.

“It was strange to be part of a public couple,” says Paltrow in an interview that aired as part of a new E! special about her.

The gang over at In Touch got out their trusty blindfolds and darts to “report” which celebrity couple is supposedly having marriage problems this week.

This week they landed on Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck.

In a piece titled, “Jen struggles to keep Ben,” the tab claims, ”Jennifer Garner is facing challenges she never planned on, as she struggles to give her husband, Ben Affleck, the space he needs.”

The magazine then fills “space” with paragraph after paragraph about how, at times, one half of the famous couple has worked when the other hasn’t, and how Affleck is currently “enjoying” making movies.

The mag even says, “It seems the happier [Affleck] is, the less time he spends with his family.”

Enough, enough…

The only one who “struggles” here is In Touch… to create drama, where there is none.

A source close to the couple tells Gossip Cop the story is “completely false,” and that they are “happier than ever and like any two working parents, they find balance with family, work and marriage.”

Ben Affleck and Jennifer Garner‘s marriage is “hanging by a thread,” according to the always reliable (cough) National Enquirer.

The tabloid claims the couple is leading “increasingly separate lives” due to their busy schedules and “seem to have been drifting apart for months.”

“Jen is ready to give Ben a shape-up or ship-out ultimatum” to “make her and the kids his main priority,” says the mag’s “insider.”

What does the Enquirer have in the way of evidence to show how far apart the couple has drifted? How about a photograph of Affleck checking his BlackBerry while he and Garner attended daughter Violet‘s soccer game.

Yes, The Town director incredibly checked his e-mail — no wonder the Enquirer screams that the marriage is “falling apart.”

A so-called “source” for the tabloid calls the situation “tragic.”

Gossip Cop thinks what’s more ”tragic” is the Enquirer desperately trying to poke holes in a perfectly stable relationship by equating Garner and Affleck’s busy lives with some kind of marriage meltdown.

A source close to the couple calls the Enquirer‘s story a “joke” and tells Gossip Cop that Garner and Affleck are “happy as can be” and spend “as much time together as they can.”

Here we go again.

E! Online begins a post with “Jennifer Garner sure knows how to keep us guessing,” before adding how she was “wearing a loose pink blouse that conveniently hid her stomach” at an L.A. charity event on Saturday.

The network’s blog then notes, “She also skipped interviews with all of the media outlets… Could it be that she doesn’t want to answer any questions about whether she’s expecting a third child with hubby Ben Affleck?”

Next, the site reports how she wasn’t seen boozing it up at the event, which raised money for the Cedars-Sinai Women’s Cancer Research Institute.

And at the end of the piece, the blog asks, “So will her girls have a new sibling soon?”

Gossip Cop looked into this once again, and has the answer. According to sources close to the actress, “she’s not” pregnant.

Maybe Garner blew off the interviews because she’s sick – and not, as in morning sickness – of  journalists asking whether wearing a comfortable blouse and not getting all liquored up at a charity function means “she’s expecting a third child.”

Ben Affleck‘s bank robber drama, The Town, has opened in the top spot at the box office, beating three other new releases.

The gritty crime film earned $23.8 million for the weekend, higher than most analysts predicted.

Teen comedy Easy A finished in second place, with $18.2 million, while horror-in-the-elevator flick, Devil, rounded the top three with $12.6 million.

Last week’s champ, Resident Evil: Afterlife 3D came in fourth with $10.1 million, while another new release, the animated Alpha and Omega secured fifth place, raking in $9.2 million.

The other films which made the Top Ten this weekend at the box office were Takers ($3 million), The American ($2.8 million), The Other Guys ($2 million), Inception ($1.9 million), Eat Pray Love ($1.7 million).

Meanwhile, The Twilight Saga: Eclipse hit a major milestone.

It’s official! Summit Entertainment confirms the film has now earned more than $300 million in North America.

Eclipse became the fourth release to cross the $300M threshold in 2010, joining Toy Story 3, Alice in Wonderland and Iron Man 2.

The movie is also closing in on $700 million worldwide.

Casey Affleck is being sued for sexual harassment by a producer who worked on his upcoming documentary about his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix’s foray into rap.

Producer Amanda White is asking for $2 million, claiming that, while working on I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix, Affleck made a number of “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances.”

White, who worked with Affleck and his brother Ben on Good Will Hunting, also alleges that she had a verbal agreement with Affleck for a $50,000 production fee, but he never paid up “because she objected to his harassing and abusive conduct.”

According to the suit, “On one occasion, Affleck instructed a crew member to take off his pants in order to show [White] his penis, even after [White] objected.” Additionally, “he discussed his sexual exploits and those of other celebrities that he allegedly witnessed.”

The complaint further alleges, “Affleck also attempted to manipulate [White] into staying in a hotel room with him.” When she declined, “Affleck became hostile and aggressive.”

The suit states, “He violently grabbed [White's] arm in an effort to intimidate her into staying,” and when she said no, “Affleck continued his abusive conduct by sending her abusive text messages and calling her profane names for refusing to stay with him.”

In another instance, according to court papers, Affleck arranged for 35 people, including a number of prostitutes and transvestites, to shoot a scene in a hotel room. What occurred isn’t mentioned in the complaint, but White makes note that whatever happened in the hotel room didn’t make into the film, and was essentially set up for Affleck’s “personal gratification and unfairly subjected” White to it for no particular reason.

White is suing Affleck and the production company, Flemmy Productions, for at least $2 million on the grounds of sexual harassment, retaliation, breach of oral contract, and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other claims.

In a statement sent to Gossip Cop, Affleck’s and Flemmy Productions’ attorney responded, “The allegations brought upon our clients are preposterous and without merit. Ms. White was terminated from the production over a year ago. She and her lawyers believe that this maliciously and erroneously filed complaint will cause the producers to succumb to her outrageous and baseless demands. She is mistaken. The complaint will be vigorously defended and cross-claims will be filed against her.”

For months, the hacks at HollywoodLife have tried to convince the world Jennifer Garner is pregnant.

Thankfully, none of them went into obstetrics. They’d be dreadful at it.

But they do have a future in farming, given how well they shovel manure.

“Jen, you’re clearly pregnant so why don’t you just come out and admit it?” the site asked last week, repeating the same rumor they delivered on April 6, April 12, June 2 and June 5.

Each time HollywoodLife insisted Garner was pregnant, Gossip Cop busted it based on information from sources close to the actress. And each time HollywoodLife refused to budge on its baby bump conviction.

“You are SO pregnant,” said the site so fond of addressing celebrities directly. “We are so happy you’re pregnant and we just can’t wait for you to finally tell the world you’re expecting a beautiful baby!”

Well, today Garner delivered… an official denial.

She is “not pregnant,” a rep tells Gossip Cop.

We’re going to ask HollywoodLife what we’ve asked before: “How exactly will you weasel out of the hole you have dug for yourself?

“Busted! Your Bottom Button Is Undone And You’re Covering Your Stomach Jen! You’re Totally Pregnant!” reads the latest ridiculous headline from HollywoodLife. 

The site, which has seemingly tried to impregnate Jennifer Garner more than her own husband Ben Affleck, writes,  “You can’t fool us anymore Jen! The loose shirt, the undone bottom button. You have a baby on the way!”

Actually, the only “fool” is HollywoodLife, which adds, “Jen is still trying to hide her pregnancy by… wearing a loose denim shirt that she didn’t button at the bottom.”

Wait, so covering one’s body in public with a loose denim shirt equals pregnancy?

Really?

For two months HollywoodLife has claimed Garner was pregnant, and frankly she looks thinner today than she did when they first speculated she was with child.

HollywoodLife was WRONG when it made its first pregnancy claim on April 6.

HollywoodLife was WRONG again when it repeated its assumption on April 12.

HollywoodLife was WRONG yet again on June 2.

And  HollywodLife is still WRONG today.

Rather than assuming a loose denim shirt means a woman is pregnant, Gossip Cop instead has been checking with sources, and as someone close to Garner told us just three days ago, “She is absolutely not pregnant.”

“New Photo! Jen Garner, You Are SO Pregnant!” exclaims HollywoodLife, which is SO wrong!

“You can keep silent all you want, Jen, but we know a glowing, expecting mom when we see one!” declares the site, which just yesterday was wrong about Gwen Stefani being pregnant.

The site writes that Jennifer Garner took her daughter Violet to a Build-A-Bear Workshop in L.A. and “once again we can’t tear our eyes away from Jen’s tummy. We’ve had our eye on Jen for quite some time now, and we’re convinced she’s got baby #3 on the way.”

Actually, #3 is apt here.

This is the THIRD time HollywoodLife has claimed Garner is pregnant, and this is the THIRD time the site is WRONG.

On April 6, HollywoodLife made a bad baby bump guess – and we busted them.

Six days later on April 12, the site ridiculously repeated its assumption – and we busted them again.

And now today again.

It has been said that the definition of insanity is “doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results.”

This is insane. Garner is still NOT pregnant.

A source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop, “She is absolutely not pregnant.”

“Jen Garner: Is That A Bump Or Another Really Unfortunate Shirt?” reads the headline of another post from HollywoodLife, which often asks questions yet rarely has the answers.

The site then asks, “Do YOU think that Jen is preggers – or is she just repeatedly making bad fashion choices?”

As an entertainment site, HollywoodLife should be informing its readers whether Jennifer Garner is pregnant or not, not asking them.

Otherwise – and here’s our question – what’s the point of the site?

HollywoodLife then asks if its photo of the actress could “be even more evidence that Jennifer Garner has another bun in the oven?”

Gossip Cop already checked this out last week, and determined that HollywoodLife is… wait for it… wrong (much like their “exclusive” on Kim Kardashian’s dating show).

When HollywoodLife struck out with this story last week, they offered as proof of her being with child: “Jen has… nothing major shooting right now that might be an impediment to a pregnancy.”

We corrected that, noting that Garner is starring in and producing  the film “Butter.”

So this time around, HollywoodLife mentions in its inaccurate post that for her part in “Butter,” Garner will “definitely have to wear a lot of bump-concealing aprons.”

No, she won’t.

Gossip Cop went back to our impeccable source, who reiterated that talk of a Garner pregnancy is “incorrect.”

One last question: When will the fertile minds at HollywoodLife give this a break?
