Three weeks after being dumped by History Channel, the controversial 8-part miniseries is finally scheduled to air – on April 3 on ReelzChannel.

The project stars Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Greg Kinnear as President John F. Kennedy.

Three weeks ago, the History Channel dropped the miniseries “The Kennedys” – starring Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Greg Kinnear as President John F. Kennedy – reportedly due to political pressure. But now there’s word that Tribune Broadcasting is interested in the miniseries, and might air it in syndication on its affiliates.

A&E Networks has canceled ‘The Kennedys,’ a miniseries about the famed political family starring Katie Holmes as Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Greg Kinnear as President John F. Kennedy.

Already finished, the TV eight-parter was scheduled to air on the History Channel before A&E surprisingly pulled the plug, reportedly under political pressure.
