Ashton Kutcher celebrated his 34th birthday on Tuesday, and the “Two and a Half Men” star asked fans to mark it by supporting a good cause.

“I’m donating my bday to fighting the sexual exploitation of children,” tweeted Kutcher, who set up a fundraising page for the DNA Foundation, which he founded with Demi Moore to combat child sex slavery.

He promised to match donations, dollar for dollar, up to $350,000.

In an accompanying video, Kutcher says, “I want to thank everyone for all the amazing wishes. I’m determined this year to do everything in my power to make the world a better place, and I want to start by getting right after it today.”

Despite being in the middle of a divorce, Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were friendly during a a run-in at the CAA pre-Golden Globes party at Soho House on Friday night.

Kutcher, who split from Moore in November after he allegedly  cheated on her the night of their sixth wedding anniversary, approached his ex at the A-list bash, according to reports.

Party-goers say the two exchanged hellos and chatted briefly in a group with Madonna and Sean Penn.

Kutcher also caught up with Moore’s eldest daughter, Rumer Willis.

It’s likely the former couple will have quite a few more run-ins now that awards season has begun.

Demi Moore is begging Ashton Kutcher “to return dozens of sexy love letters and poems she wrote to him throughout their relationship,” reports the National Enquirer.

According to an alleged “pal” of the actress, “Demi’s panicked that Ashton, who’s notorious for saying dumb things on the internet, might leak her intimate words to friends, or even the whole world.”

(Nice made up, unrealistic-sounding quote, by the way.)

Anyway, the tab says Moore is so worried about Kutcher leaking her letters that she’s “warned him that if he doesn’t give her love writings back she’s going to seek legal advice.”

Whoa.

As in whoa, this has got to be one of the stupidest stories we’ve come across this week.

What is the argument here — that Kutcher is so careless on Twitter he’s going to accidentally tweet one of Moore’s love letters out?

And even if he were to ever (accidentally or purposely) leak her letters — which he wouldn’t — the world would be rocked from the bombshell that Moore once openly professed love for her husband?

The whole thing makes ZERO sense.

Regardless, a source close to The Scarlett Letter actress tells Gossip Cop the story is completely fabricated, adding, “it’s nonsense.”

“Two and a Half Men” fans may have another season with Ashton Kutcher to look forward to.

The actor, who had signed a one-year deal after Charlie Sheen was fired from the hit series, said on Wednesday he “would be interested in doing more.”

Kutcher and some members of the “Men” cast and crew, including creator Chuck Lorre, discussed the show’s future at the Television Critics Association’s winter gathering in Pasadena, California.

“The deal that we structured for the show was kind of a test deal,” Kutcher explained, adding that “having a show people like and want more of, that will dictate my decision” on whether to continue.

During the show’s summer hiatus, Kutcher says he’ll film “a couple of movies.”

Kutcher’s return hinges on whether he and CBS can come to an agreement.

“Just as Ashton Kutcher replaced Charlie Sheen on ‘Two and a Half Men,’ has this young stud replaced Kutcher in Demi Moore’s love life?” asks RadarOnline, citing a composite photo of Moore and an unidentified young man inside a car.

Unable to answer its own question, or even supply the name of Moore’s supposed companion, the site writes, “We’re not sure, but given the actress’ past history of going for younger men, would it really surprise anyone?”

So, RadarOnline reports an unidentified ”young’un” may be her “new boy toy” because they were supposedly spotted in his SUV in Hollywood, but doesn’t even provide a picture of the two together?

Well, unlike that blog, Gossip Cop actually took the time to find out whether there’s anything romantic going on between Moore and her reported pal, as the drama-hungry site suggests.

There is not.

A source extremely close to the Margin Call actress tells us, “This is not true at all.”

RadarOnline is wrong again, but considering their track record when it comes to reporting on Moore’s love life, does that really surprise anyone?

We have no doubt that rather than spending their time fact-checking, the editors of RadarOnline will bombard us with even more e-mails complaining about how we bust them.

Brandi Glanville is ripping a bizarre National Enquirer cover story that claims she had an affair with Demi Moore.

According to the tabloid, “The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” star supposedly told friends Moore “cheated on Ashton Kutcher with her.”

The Enquirer speculates that the “shocking lesbian fling” on Turks & Caicos in 2009 “could make Demi and Ashton’s $290 million divorce battle even nastier!”

A so-called “close confidante” tells the magazine all about the “racy tryst” that Glanville allegedly recounted after returning from her tropical trip three years ago.

According to the Enquirer, Glanville even bragged to her then-husband Eddie Cibrian about her romp.

But the “Real Housewives” personality says there’s nothing real about what the tabloid is spreading.

“An untrue story is circulating that I had an affair with Demi Moore,” tweeted Glanville on Wednesday.

She adds, “While I have met her briefly & she is a beautiful woman its 100% untrue.”

Demi Moore is opening up about her dramatic weight loss, saying she has a “love-hate relationship” with her body.

The actress, who acknowledges that she’s “extremely thin,” says she now has a “greater acceptance of my body, and that includes not just my weight but all of the things that come with your changing body as you age.”

“[I'm] thin in a way that I never imagined somebody would be saying to me, ‘You’re too thin, and you don’t look good,’” Moore admits.

She adds, “I find peace when I don’t see my body as my enemy, when I step back and have appreciation and look at all that my body has done for me.”

The movie star began sporting a smaller frame last year, following rumors husband Ashton Kutcher had cheated on her.

In November, Moore announced she and Kutcher were divorcing, having chosen to “move forward with [her] life.”

Of fearing infidelity, she tells Harper’s Bazaar, “I used to think that what scared me was the idea of being abandoned until someone said to me, ‘Only children can be abandoned. Adults can’t be abandoned because we have a choice. Children don’t have a choice.’”

“So I started to rethink,” Moore explains. “‘Okay, it’s not that. What’s the underlying thread that really scares me?’ I think what scares me is not having the courage to reach my full potential.”

Demi Moore has signed on for her first movie role since announcing her split from Ashton Kutcher.

The actress will play feminist Gloria Steinem in Lovelace, the Amanda Seyfried-starring biopic about porn star Linda Lovelace.

Steinem, a political activist and journalist, was adamantly opposed to pornography and wrote a piece about Lovelace in Ms. Magazine.

Moore is the latest of a slew of big names to join the film, which already includes Peter Sarsgaard as Lovelace’s pornographer husband, Adam Brody as her Deep Throat co-star, Sharon Stone, Hank Azaria, Chris Noth and James Franco, who’s set to make a cameo as Hugh Hefner.

Lovelace is one of two biopics about the adult entertainment star currently underway — Matthew Wilder‘s Inferno, starring Malin Akerman, is slated for a 2013 release.

During MTV’s New Year’s Eve broadcast, it was officially announced that “Punk’d” is returning on March 19.

As Gossip Cop reported back in August, the hidden-camera show will feature a series of rotating hosts, including Justin Bieber, Kellan Lutz, Bam Margera, and former “Punk’d” star Dax Shepard.

In the preview aired during MTV’s New Year’s Eve celebration, “Punk’d” guest host Miley Cyrus, along with pal Kelly Osbourne, pull a prank on Khloe Kardashian in which a food delivery man uses Cyrus’ bathroom, and gets his balls caught in his zipper.

“Punk’d” is produced by former host and creator Ashton Kutcher.

Us Weekly reports, “Ashton Kutcher is flaunting a new woman — and sources say he hooked up with her prior to splitting from wife Demi Moore last month.”

According to the mag, the “Two and a Half Men” star is now dating screenwriter Lorene Scafaria, and the two even spent Christmas together in Italy.

A source claims the pair has been “stoking a romance since meeting in February, when Kutcher tried out for a film she wrote.” He was still married to Moore, and she was dating Adam Brody.

Now, says Us, they’ve gone public during their “private sojourn” in Italy, where the tab says they “tooled around in a Porsche Carrera Sports 2011 and holed up at a private pad,” and even “held hands” during a romantic lunch on Christmas Eve.

The mag adds the duo also spent time together in Montana earlier this month, when they “cozied up at Yellowstone Club ski resort.”

However, Kutcher and Scafaria’s “sojourn” was much less romantic than the mag makes it out to be.

A source close to the actor tells us that part of their trip is tied to them working together on a film project that involves an Italian soccer team.

And a rep for Kutcher tells Gossip Cop, “They are not dating. They’re friends.”

Lady Gaga was named #1 for the second year in a row, beating out Justin Bieber, who jumped from #10 to #2.

Both stars are well known for their philanthropy projects, such as Gaga’s newly-announced Born This Way Foundation and Bieber’s many donations.

Several couples – and former couples – made the list, including Angelina Jolie and partner Brad Pitt (#8) as well as Demi Moore and her estranged husband Ashton Kutcher (#12).

MTV is bringing back “Punk’d.”

The hidden-camera celebrity prank show, originally hosted by Ashton Kutcher from 2003 to 2007, will return with Kutcher as an executive producer.

But the “Two and a Half Men” star will not be in front of the camera.

As Gossip Cop reported back in August, a rotating group of hosts including Justin Bieber is expected to be involved.

According to new reports, MTV will announce more details about the revived “Punk’d” – including hosts – during its New Year’s Eve countdown on December 31.

The network has been in the nostalgia game recently, bringing back old favorites like “Beavis and Butt-head” and “Yo! MTV Raps.”

The National Enquirer reports that friends of Demi Moore are worried she’s “hit rock bottom,” “spinning wildly out of control,” and “may return to her old vice, alcohol, to ease her mental anguish.”

What might send her back to the bottle, says the tabloid, is that “her good friend and former Alcoholics Anonymous sponsor Pattsy Rugg died, and just days later photos of Demi’s estranged husband Ashton Kutcher leering at the exposed bosom of ‘Glee’ star Lea Michele exploded onto the scene.”

Kutcher “knew the shots would get out and be like a dagger in the chest to Demi. What a heartless boob!” wrote one of the Enquirer‘s fiction writers, claiming it came out of the mouth of a Moore “pal.”

And while it’s true Moore was terribly distraught by Rugg’s death, the rest of the tasteless tab’s claims are as made up as its fabricated quotations.

Gossip Cop, of course, spoke to a real pal of Moore, who assured us the Enquirer‘s assertion that she may start drinking again “isn’t true.”

Ashton Kutcher may be moving on from Demi Moore with “Glee” star Lea Michele, reports OK! magazine.

The mag says at the New Year’s Eve premiere in L.A., the co-stars “mooned and pawed at each other and seemed all but ready for a roll in the Hollywood landmark’s iconic cement.”

And a supposed “source” close to the film’s cast tells OK!, “It wouldn’t be the least bit surprising if they were hooking up,” noting, “Their chemistry was undeniable on-set.”

An “eyewitness” at the screening says the pair “were so enamored of each other that they scarcely made any time for any of the other myriad of A-listers at the premiere.”

“Lea and Ashton pretty much only had eyes for each other,” says the source, adding, “Lea was hanging on his every word, touching his arm every time he made a joke.”

Of course, OK! conveniently leaves out the fact that Michele brought “Glee” star Jonathan Groff as her date.

Anyway, while Kutcher and Michele certainly cozied up for the cameras at the premiere, that doesn’t mean they’re about to shack up.

A source extremely close to Michele tells Gossip Cop there’s absolutely nothing romantic going on between them.

Nearly one month after announcing she plans to divorce husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore is still using the Twitter name “@mrskutcher.”

And don’t expect it to change anytime soon.

“Changing my twitter name isn’t a top priority right now,” Moore tweeted Wednesday in response to messages asking why she’s still using the moniker post-split.

“Sorry it bothers so many of u,” she wrote, adding, “Should I not tweet until I do? does it really matter?”

Moore and Kutcher, who used to frequently express their love for each other through the social networking site, have significantly cutback on their tweets since rumors of marital trouble began in October.

After the actress revealed she was ending their marriage, Kutcher took to Twitter to say he “will forever cherish the time I spent with Demi.”

In a new interview with TV Guide, Chuck Lorre says he had no choice but to shut down production on “Two and a Half Men” during then-star Charlie Sheen’s troubles, explaining, “You can’t do that much cocaine and work.”

“I didn’t want to be writing a sitcom while my friend died. Or worse, hurt someone else,” says Lorre.

He adds, “We couldn’t be complacent. There was a tragedy unfolding right in front of us. There was violence and blackouts. On a certain level, if you’re looking the other way, you’re responsible.”

Lorre also talks about bringing in Ashton Kutcher to replace Sheen.

“I thought, why not find out if we can do it? If we failed, what have we failed at? Making a sitcom? Then it became exciting. We got to do something none of us ever dreamed of doing: We got to end a series and start a new series in 20 minutes.”

According to In Touch, Ashton Kutcher is “terrified” Demi Moore will “air the dirty laundry about their marriage” in an upcoming memoir.

“She got the book deal when they were still together, and it was supposed to focus on her childhood, her complex relationship with her mom and how it affected her life and career,” explains a so-called “insider” for the tabloid.

But in the wake of her messy breakup with Kutcher, Moore will now supposedly be pressured to write about their marriage’s ugly end, and In Touch‘s source says Kutcher is “afraid she’ll ruin his image by exposing all of their secrets.”

What secrets?

In Touch doesn’t seem to know any of that, but seems confident that Kutcher is “afraid of Demi’s book!”

The mag even speculates that Kutcher might try to pay Moore in their divorce negotiations not to tell all.

But rumors of Moore penning a “diss-and-tell” are untrue.

A source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop of the tabloid rumor, “It is so silly.”

That puts it right in line with other recent In Touch stories about Moore, which have been laughably out of touch.

According to RadarOnline, the actress has moved on from Ashton Kutcher and is now dating beauty expert Scott-Vincent Borba.

“Demi and Scott-Vincent started dating last week,” claims a so-called “source” for the site, adding, “They have known each other a long time and he’s really been there for her by her side through the whole Ashton thing.”

RadarOnline’s source explains that Borba’s celebrity clientele, with whom he’s often seen, makes it easy for him “to keep his relationships a secret.”

Um… ok.

“He’s head over heels for Demi and there’s definitely potential for a lasting relationship between them,” gushes the “source.”

Lovely.

Well, congrats to RadarOnline on fabricating another “exclusive” instead of actually finding one.

A source close to Moore said it is “completely untrue (almost laughable).”

“Save 90-lb Demi!” blares another alarmist headline from the National Enquirer, which claims Jennifer Aniston is “rallying Demi Moore‘s A-list pals to intervene before the distraught Ghost star starves herself to death.”

According to “insiders” for the tabloid, Aniston decided to stage the strictly “A-list” intervention after she noticed her fellow Five director’s weight plummeting in the wake of Ashton Kutcher‘s cheating scandal.

One of these supposed sources for the mag explains, “Jen watched Demi go from fun-loving, confident and outgoing to withdrawn, depressed and bone-thin,” and that’s why she enlisted the help of Moore’s friends, Salma Hayek and Lucy Lui.

“Jen, Salma and Lucy told Demi that she needs professional counseling in addition to the guidance she’s getting from Kabbalah,” says the source, adding, “They’ve also urged her to hire a nutritionist and personal trainer.”

The ladies’ ultimate goal is “to build Demi back up into the vibrant, vital person she once was,” notes the insider.

The Enquirer‘s trusty source explains that Aniston has taken Moore under her wing because she experienced a similar devastation when Brad Pitt left her for Angelina Jolie. “With the help of close friends, Jen put the pieces of her life back together,” relates the source, adding, “Now she’s helping Demi do the same.”

And now that Moore has finally decided to file for divorce from Kutcher, Aniston has supposedly taken to checking in on her regularly, “calling her in the morning with cheery greetings like, ‘Rise and shine, sunshine!’”

Did she also decorate Moore’s room with rainbows and unicorns?

The tabloid’s tale all sounds very nice, but unfortunately it’s all made up.

A rep for Aniston tells Gossip Cop the story is a “complete fabrication.”

HollywoodLife, which has offered some of the most laughable “reporting” about Demi Moore in recent memory, is at it again.

The site twists a New York Post item about the actress having dinner at Tower Bar in Hollywood, making it a story about how she’s supposedly “dating again” after splitting from Ashton Kutcher.

The Post reports that Moore was spotted at the establishment with an unidentified man, and quotes an eyewitness as saying, “Demi looked good, and like she was ready to be seen out. She was in deep conversation with her male companion, but it didn’t look like a romantic date.”

HollywoodLife took that exact quote, about it not being a romantic date, and decided its headline should be, “Demi Moore’s Dating Again After Ashton Kutcher Split.”

Huh?

Where did that come from?

The site goes even further, writing that Moore is “hitting the town with sexy guys!”

No, she’s not.

Basically, HollywoodLife cut and pasted someone else’s reporting – and then got it wrong.

At some point, Moore will start dating again – but we’re pretty sure the fact-challenged blog won’t be the first to report it.

Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher broke their Twitter silence for the holiday, tweeting for the first time since the day their divorce was announced.

Immediately after the news broke last Thursday, Kutcher had sent out a single message acknowledging the split, but he and Moore, usually active on social media, were quiet in the days that followed.

But on Thursday, Kutcher finally tweeted again, writing, ”I’m thankful for family, friends, you, & time to reach my potential. What are you thankful for? #thanksgiving”

Just hours later, Moore tweeted, “Why do we have only 1 day for giving thanks? Is that why so many people feel unappreciated? Make this 1 of 365 days of Thanksgiving!”

The couple, married for six years, has been the subject of endless rumors (and webloid nonsense) in the period since their break-up was made public.

In a piece titled, “Psychic told Demi Moore to give up the Ghost,” The Sun claims, “Moore was advised to divorce Ashton Kutcher by a psychic.”

A source for the tab says, “Demi is very reliant on psychics and spiritual advisers,” and notes that the Ghost star, who lost weight in the aftermath of Kutcher’s alleged affair with Sara Leal, “listened when one insisted that to save her health she had to stop clinging to the hope of saving the marriage.”

According to a so-called “pal” of Moore, “Her three daughters had been telling her the same thing, but it was the psychic who tipped the balance.”

OK, but if Moore was really “very reliant on psychics,” wouldn’t she have known in advance that Kutcher was allegedly going to cheat?

Regardless, a Moore source tells Gossip Cop that The Sun story is all a bunch of hocus pocus.

Without wishing to get into specifics, our insider says, “[Moore] makes her own decisions.”

According to HollywoodLife, the “final straw” in Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher‘s imploding relationship was… Kutcher’s tweet about Joe Paterno being fired amid the Penn State alleged child rape scandal.

Seriously.

Not Kutcher’s alleged fling with Sara Leal.

Not reports of earlier affairs, or major professional shakeups, or anything else that may have brought a high-profile, six-year marriage to an end.

No, HollywoodLife’s “sources” say it was “Ashton’s careless tweet about the Penn State football scandal that actually pushed [Demi] over the edge!”

“It looked as if things were progressing, and then of all things when Ashton messed up on Twitter,” explains a logic-challenged “source.”

The insider adds, “[Demi] believed he really didn’t care about the details of things and the embarrassment of that reminded her of the embarrassment he caused her with the cheating. It basically opened the can of worms again resulting in Demi finally deciding to take on the divorce.”

Please read that quote again.

HollywoodLife thinks that Demi Moore was “reminded” of Kutcher’s alleged infidelities because he wrote a premature, misguided tweet about Joe Paterno.

Ashton Kutcher is the cover subject for December’s Men’s Health (and is also featured in Women’s Health), and the actor makes a few comments that are pretty interesting in light of the news that he and Demi Moore will divorce.

“I’m relatively scared of failure,” he tells Men’s Health, adding, “But I just don’t see it as something that’s inevitable.”

In explaining his divorce late Thursday, Kutcher called marriage “difficult” and said “unfortunately sometimes they fail.”

Even more intriguing, though, are Kutcher’s responses to questions about love in Women’s Health.

Asked for the best relationship advice he’s been given, the actor responds, “I think it’s all about working on the relationship and making it better… when it’s good. Don’t wait for a problem to work on things. The goal is not to get into a relationship; the goal is to be in a relationship.”

Women’s Health then asks Kutcher to finish the sentence, “I could never be with a woman who…”

“Wow, that’s tough,” he answers. “I could never be with a woman who felt like she needed to change me.”

Kutcher’s response what still “boggles” his mind about women is really what stands out.

“Everything surprises me and enchants me,” he says. “The thing that enchants me the most is the ability women have to feel other people’s pain. The total empathy that women have is extraordinary.”

The retroactively awkward comments are reminiscent of Kim Kardashian‘s ill-timed cover interview with Marie Claire, in which she called her marriage to Kris Humphries the “best time in my life” – only weeks before they split.

“Ashton & Demi: The Truth About Their ‘Open Marriage,’” reads a headline from Star, alleging Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore‘s six-year marriage – which Moore just announced she was ending – was a planned arrangement that allowed them both to sleep with other people.

According to a supposed “insider” for the tabloid, “Everyone in Hollywood knows about their arrangement, but they’ve managed to keep it a secret from the general public.”

Describing their private life as “twisted,” the mag quotes another so-called “source” as saying, “Demi is attracted to women just as much as men, so she didn’t always get all she needed from Ashton.”

Moore, says Star, has been “spotted at strip clubs and in the arms of other women several times over the past few years,” and “was cool with Ashton having flirtatious relationships too.”

“It was a lot of fun for them,” notes Star‘s “source.”

Hold up.

These claims are completely preposterous.

On Thursday, Moore announced she was filing for divorce from Kutcher, alluding to his alleged affair with 22-year-old Sara Leal as the reason for the split.

She said, “As a woman, a mother and a wife there are certain values and vows that I hold sacred, and it is in this spirit that I have chosen to move forward with my life.”

If the couple actually had an “open relationship,” then Kutcher’s fling being exposed wouldn’t have resulted in Moore ending their marriage.

Regardless, a source extremely close to Moore tells Gossip Cop the tab’s story is absolutely “not true.”
