Anne Hathaway showed off her stunning engagement ring while lounging with Adam Shulman at Brooklyn’s Fort Greene Park on Sunday.

The happy couple was photographed showing some PDA and playing with her dog, Esmeralda.

Shulman, who happens to be a jewelry designer as well as an actor, helped design the Kwiat sparkler.

The Rachel Getting Married star hasn’t set a date yet.

Anne Hathaway is engaged!

The actress and Adam Shulman are set to marry, her rep confirms to Gossip Cop.

She was spotted wearing an engagement ring in Brooklyn over Thanksgiving Weekend.

Hathaway and Shulman began dating in 2008.

Her previous boyfriend, Raffaello Follieri, was convicted of money laundering, conspiracy and wire fraud that year.

It looks like The Princess Diaries star has found a much happier romantic ending.

Anne Hathaway and her boyfriend Adam Shulman are “eager to become parents,” reveals Star.

According to the tab’s so-called “insider,” Hathaway has been “telling friends that when she wraps The Dark Knight Rises, her next project will be remodeling the home she and Adam share in Brooklyn and installing a nursery.”

“She wants to take some time off from work to focus on her personal life — and on starting a family,” adds the supposed “insider.”

Once again, the only thing fertile here are the imaginations of the writers at Star.

A rep for Hathaway tells Gossip Cop the tale is “not true,” and points out that the actress is shooting The Dark Knight Rises through November, and is “already committed to another film [in the] first part of 2012.”

Maybe Star should take a few baby steps… like fact-checking.

Filming continues on The Dark Knight Rises, and there’s new footage of Batman’s Batwing “flying” through the streets of Gotham.

It’s the first look at Batman’s aircraft, which is, of course, just one of his super-cool vehicles.

Video of various scenes, including a fight between Batman and Bane, has been leaking out from Pittsburgh all summer.

Christopher Nolan‘s trilogy capper, starring Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway and Tom Hardy, is set for release next July.

Anne Hathaway is clawing (gently) at critics who weren’t impressed by the first shot of the costume her Selina Kyle/Catwoman character wears in The Dark Knight Rises.

“I was not going to admit it; I asked someone to send me a few reactions [to the photo],” the actress tells MTV News, adding, “And I happen to know that MTV’s reaction was ‘meh.’”

Hathaway warns against drawing any conclusions just yet.

“What I am happy to say is, if you didn’t like the photo, you only see about a tenth of what that suit can do,” she says.

“And if you did like the photo, you have excellent taste.”

Anne Hathaway “is still keeping in contact with her jailed ex-boyfriend Raffaello Follieri,” reports the National Enquirer.

According to a supposed “insider” for the tabloid, “The two have been exchanging letters, and Raffaello has even been giving business and career advice to Anne from behind bars.”

Although their relationship ended in 2008 when Raffaello was convicted of money-laundering and fraud, Hathaway “never stopped caring for him and still respects him,” reveals the mag’s so-called “source.”

And despite her now dating actor Adam Shulman, the Enquirer says she ”still has deep feelings for the convicted fraudster.”

“Friends are now urging her to stay away from the real estate crook, who is expected to be released next year,” adds the mag.

Hold up.

The Enquirer expects us to believe that not only is Hathaway still tight with the man who repeatedly lied to and publicly humiliated her, but that she’s also seeking career advice from him?

Not a chance.

Regardless, a source close to the actress tells Gossip Cop the story is “complete and utter b.s.” and assures us “she has had NO contact with him.”

Like Follieri, the Enquirer is BUSTED.

It’s not the best quality, but it appears to be the real deal.

We’ll know for sure when the teaser pops up in theaters.

Christian Bale returns in the third (and final) installment of Christopher Nolan‘s Batman franchise, which will also star Anne Hathaway, Gary Oldman and Joseph Gordon-Levitt.

A 90-second clip from The Dark Knight Rises has hit the Web.

The blurry footage shows Christian Bale (Bruce Wayne) and Anne Hathaway (Selina Kyle) having a conversation in front of “Wayne Manor,” and then exiting through the rain hand-in-hand.

The scene is being filmed in Nottingham, England.

The movie comes out next summer, and also stars Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine.

Animals aren’t the only ones who love Russell Brand and Kristen Wiig.

PETA has named the two comedy stars The Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrities of 2011.

The pair beat out other meat-averse notables like Natalie Portman, Olivia Wilde, Anne Hathaway and Woody Harrelson.

Bridesmaids lead and “Saturday Night Live” veteran Wiig recently said that she’s made soy and tofu a major part of her diet.

For his part, Brand once said, “You shouldn’t eat animals. It’s mean to them.”

Last year, Wilde and “The Biggest Loser” trainer Bob Harper were picked as the hottest vegetarians.

James Franco visited another oft-criticized Academy Awards host, David Letterman, to trade horror stories about the job.

Letterman bombed as Oscars host in 1995.

“It was horrible,” he told Franco, joking, “I was so bad that they talked for a while about shutting down the motion picture industry.”

But at least no one accused Letterman of being stoned, observed Franco, which seems to be what everyone assumed led to the young star’s laid-back approach when it was his turn this year.

“People said I was under the influence,” said the 127 Hours star, who explained that he took the job seriously and did it as well as he could, but that anyone would appear to be low-energy compared with his Oscars co-host, Anne Hathaway.

“I think the Tasmanian Devil would look stoned standing next to [her],” joked Franco.

He also points out how everyone pretended not to care about the Oscars – until he didn’t host as some people wished.

Joseph Gordon-Levitt has reportedly been tapped to reteam with his Inception director, Christopher Nolan, for a role in The Dark Knight Rises.

Gossip Cop is investigating, and has sought an official confirmation from the film’s studio, Warner Bros.

While Gordon-Levitt was wrongly reported to have been set to play The Riddler, Variety claims he’ll play Alberto Falcone, son of  mobster Carmine Falcone, played by Tom Wilkinson in Batman Begins. We’re told that’s inaccurate, too.

Should Gordon-Levitt star in the next film, he’ll be joining his Inception costar Tom Hardy, slated to play the villain Bane, and Anne Hathaway, who’s starring at Catwoman.

And, of course, Oscar  winner Christian Bale will reprise his role as Batman.

The Dark Knight Rises is set to hit theaters July 20, 2012.

Emma Watson is the new face of Lancôme.

The Harry Potter star revealed the news herself today on Twitter, after dropping a series of riddle-like clues about her “new venture.”

An announcement from the French cosmetics giant made it official.

“Thanks to her charm, romanticism and her incredible modernity, Emma Watson has become the icon of her generation,” explained the company in a press statement, adding that Watson “brings a fresh spirit” to Lancôme.

As an “ambassadress” for the brand, Watson follows stars including Julia Roberts, Kate Winslet, Penelope Cruz and Anne Hathaway.

Last week, the actress announced she was taking a break from her studies at Brown University.

You probably know me from 127 Hours where I play a man trapped in an enclosed space who decides he would rather cut his own arm off than stay where he was. Now that sounds “way out” but wait till half way through this f–king ceremony and you’ll start to identify with him.

And I’m the new Catwoman. The first white woman to play that role since Michelle Pfeiffer. I want it to be an inspiration to all white people everywhere. Your dreams can come true in Hollywood too.

It’s a daunting task hosting The Oscars but we’re not alone. Presenting awards tonight will be a string of Hollywood legends and some other actors who have a film out in March or April.

JF

Usually they hire comedians to host The Oscars, but tonight, instead, you get us!

AH

No comedians tonight. And do you know why? Because comics are ugly.

JF

Especially that rude obnoxious one who played the Steve Carell part in the English remake of “The Office.”

AH

But you can all relax because Ricky Gervais is in London…

(Nervous laughter)

He’s doing some charity work.

Yeah, he’s visiting orphans with cancer.

He’s telling them what bald little losers they are…

JF

Yeah, cos he’s rude right?

(Applause)

Thank you.

No rudeness tonight.

It’s going to be a night of the most privileged people in the world being told how brilliant they are and thanking God for loving them more than ugly poor foreigners.

That’s not to say that we don’t care. No, apart from all the great movies we made this year we continued our life-saving philanthropy. Mega stars like Angelina Jolie, George Clooney and Ben Stiller brought light to third world poverty and famine and shocked the world with visions of children so hungry they’d been living off dead beetles all their lives.

Yeah and Yoko Ono said. “What’s wrong with that?”

It’s a good question Anne. For the same reason he doesn’t have botox or suck up to important producers – there’s something wrong with him.

There must be. Why isn’t the stocky, fangy, little slob more like us, right?

That ugly dude needs to get a Hollywood makeover, big time.

Quite. And even though most of the actresses here have eating disorders, that’s better than being fat right?

You bet it is gorgeous.

Sadly, it didn’t make the cut.

Franco just tweeted his moving rendition of “Oscar Song,” along with faux outrage: “they pulled this from the oscar show. damn it.”

French newspaper Le Figaro reported her casting as a done deal, but a rep for Cotillard says nothing has been confirmed yet nor are there details yet about what role she would play.

The cast of Christopher Nolan‘s third Batman film already includes Christian Bale, Anne Hathaway, Tom Hardy, Morgan Freeman, and Michael Caine.

Anne Hathaway will play Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises.

She’s been cast as Selina Kyle in the Batman film franchise’s highly anticipated next installment, which is due in theaters on July 20, 2012.

“I am thrilled to have the opportunity to work with Anne Hathaway, who will be a fantastic addition to our ensemble as we complete our story,” said director Christopher Nolan.

Tom Hardy, who worked with Nolan on Inception, is set for the role of the villain Bane.

“I am delighted to be working with Tom again and excited to watch him bring to life our new interpretation of one of Batman’s most formidable enemies,” announced Nolan.

Christian Bale will return as Bruce Wayne/Batman.

Anne Hathaway may have just cast herself as a guest star on”Glee.”

While Gossip Cop was backstage at the Golden Globes, Ryan Murphy revealed that Hathaway could likely make an appearance on the hit show.

“I just ran into Anne Hathaway, who has created her own role,” said Murphy, explaining that “on her way to the bathroom” the actress pitched him on a guest gig.

“She presented the whole episode. She came up with the songs,” said Murphy.

So what part did she create for herself?

“She wants to play Chris Colfer‘s lesbian aunt,” said Murphy.

And while some other places claim it’s a done deal, Murphy said, ”I love her and would definitely be interested.”

“Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes may boycott next month’s Oscars ceremony because they don’t want an awkward red carpet confrontation with the host, Anne Hathaway,” begins a story in the Daily Mail that got picked up by numerous outlets.

The reason?

According to the tab, the couple is upset over a “Saturday Night Live” sketch from November in which Hathaway did a cutting impression of Holmes.

“The whole thing has left a sour taste with Tom,” a so-called “source” tells the Daily Mail.

As a result, says the source, “Tom and Katie don’t want to have to cross paths with Anne” at the Academy Awards.

Interesting, but…

Completely “ridiculous,” says a source close to the couple, who explains that “no one knows,” at this point, who will and won’t be at the Oscars because “nominations haven’t been announced” – and, to an extent, it’s the nominations “which dictate the presenters.”

Gossip Cop‘s impeccable source adds if Cruise isn’t at the Academy Awards, it’s because ”he is shooting a film that has to wrap,” and not because of an SNL skit.

Anne Hathaway totally surprised students at P.S. 22 in New York during their Annual Winter Concert last night.

First, Academy Awards producer Bruce Cohen introduced himself to the assembled students and parents, who were there to hear the school’s chorus perform holiday songs. Then, Cohen told the children he had a surprise for them, and asked if they would like to meet one of the Oscars’ hosts.

To the shock and joy of the kids, Hathaway walked out and told members of P.S. 22′s chorus that she would like to invite them to perform on February 27 at the 83rd annual Academy Awards, which she’s co-hosting with James Franco.

The elated kids began jumping up and down and screaming with delight.

After they eventually regained their composure, the kids treated Hathaway to a rousing rendition of “Jingle Bells.”
