Angelina Jolie will cut back on the Bosnian portion of the shoot for her directorial debut.

Jolie originally intended to shoot for at least 10 days in Sarajevo, but has decided to limit her filming there to only three or four days, her producer Edin Sarkic announced today.

Angelina Jolie will be allowed to shoot her directorial debut in Sarajevo after authorities decided to give back her filming permit which was stripped following protests by a rape victims group.

Rumors had claimed that the movie, about the war that ravaged Bosnia in the 1990s, features a rape victim who falls in love with her attacker.

Angelina Jolie is slated to direct her first feature-length film.

The film, which Jolie announced a few days ago in Sarajevo, is a love story set against the backdrop of the 1992-1995 Bosnian War.

According to the movie’s production company, GK Films, “The film focuses on a Serbian man and a Bosnian woman who meet on the eve of the war and the effect the war has on their relationship.” But you won’t believe what other roles she has besides director.

After a visit on Saturday to Sarajevo, where Angelina Jolie discussed ways to help returning war refugees, the actress announced she was going to star in a love story, set against the backdrop of the 1992-1995 Bosnian War.
