“American Idol” has gone online.

For the first time in the TV juggernaut’s history, singers will be able to submit an audition video through MySpace.

Potential contestants’ entries must be no longer than 40 seconds and selected from a group of songs. What do you think of this new component?

When “American Idol” enters its tenth season next year, the absence of Simon Cowell won’t be the only difference.

The program has expanded the age eligibility range, lowering the limit to 15 years old.

While Simon Cowell’s future with “American Idol” is still up in the air, it’s been announced that the new season will begin on January 12 and January 13, with four full hours of auditions from Boston and Atlanta. And it’s going to be a season of a TON of guest judges.
