A still-incarcerated Amber Portwood couldn’t participate in Tuesday night’s “Teen Mom” special with Dr. Drew, prompting the MTV star to release a lengthy statement about her well-documented personal problems.

Portwood, whose daughter Leah is now 3-years-old, has spent the last few years in and out of jail on various charges, including assaulting her baby daddy Gary Shirley.

In her statement, the reality star says she “just got lost,” but now knows she has to “grow up quicker and start acting like a mother.”

A judge in Indiana reimposed the “Teen Mom” star’s original jail sentence on Tuesday after Portwood asked to be removed from a drug rehab program she’d been unable to fulfill as part of a plea agreement.

Amber Portwood is back in jail.

The “Teen Mom” star is behind bars in Indiana after violating the terms of her drug court program.

Portwood was sent back to the slammer on Thursday after failing to show in court and claiming she had been ordered to rest following surgery.

The court determined that she was healthy enough to fulfill her obligations and ordered her back to jail for violating the program.
