Demi Lovato and Ryan Phillippe are romantically linked in a new report.

“She’s 18. He’s 36. But the laws of celebrity attraction knew no boundaries when it came to Demi Lovato secretly connecting with her most recent boyfriend,” claims an E! Online exclusive.

According to the site, she and Phillippe have been “quietly dating” over the last couple of months.

Ryan Phillippe’s ex, Alexis Knapp, gave birth to a baby girl named Kai last Friday, and Phillippe was at her bedside for the delivery.

Knapp, a model who split from the actor in September 2010, announced her pregnancy in March, and had told friends that Phillippe was the father.
