While absolutely nothing has been confirmed, the news was possibly leaked by 16-time host Alec Baldwin during an interview he conducted with “SNL” boss Lorne Michaels for his Here’s The Thing podcast.

One month after leaving Twitter amid controversy, Alec Baldwin has returned.

“Back on Twitter. Happy New Year,” wrote the “30 Rock” star on Saturday.

Referring to his girlfriend, Baldwin then tweeted, “Last day in Paraiso with @hilariathomas.”

The messages are Baldwin’s first on Twitter since December 6, when he announced, “Let’s crash this acct. #massunfollowing,” hours after being booted from an American Airlines flight.

Despite an interest in politics, Alec Baldwin says he has lost his “appetite” to run for office.

“I doubt it now. The older I get, the more I feel that all of it has changed,” the actor said Wednesday on his WNYC radio show, “Here’s The Thing.”

Baldwin has previously said he’d consider running for Mayor of New York, but now finds himself turned off by the political players currently in the mix.

The war between Alec Baldwin and the airline industry has taken another twist.

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) has requested that American Airlines remove the actor’s sitcom “30 Rock” from its in-flight entertainment offerings following last week’s incident between Baldwin and a Los Angeles-to-New York flight crew.
