U2′s Bono and The Edge, Lady Gaga and Usher are set to perform at a massive, live streamed bash for Bill Clinton’s foundation that will feature other “socially responsible” artists in music, film and television.

“A Decade of Difference: A Concert Celebrating 10 Years of the William J. Clinton Foundation” will take place on Saturday, October 15 at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles.

The event will be broadcast exclusively on Yahoo!

Bono Denies Reports of Health Scare

Bono is denying reports that he was rushed to the hospital after experiencing chest pains while vacationing in the south of France.

The U2 frontman went to Princess Grace Memorial Hospital in Monaco for a routine checkup, according to his spokesperson.

“Despite press stories to the contrary Bono has not suffered a recent health scare,” reads the statement.

“Reports of his being rushed to hospital for emergency treatment are untrue,” it adds. “Bono is in good health and enjoying a family holiday in the south of France.”

Bono Found Hitchhiking in Canada

Bono found himself hitchhiking in Vancouver, Canada on Tuesday, and was picked up by none other than Edmonton Oilers center Gilbert Brule.

The hockey pro was driving to a park with his girlfriend Kelsey Nichols when he spotted the U2 frontman on the side of the road, reports the Edmonton Journal.

“I didn’t want to stop, but they waved and [Gilbert] yelled ‘that’s Bono’,” Nichols says. “I didn’t believe him so I kept driving.” So, why was the music legend hitchhiking?

U2 resumed what’s expected to be the highest-earning concert tour ever on Friday as frontman Bono returned from a long absence for a concert in Turin, Italy.

He’d undergone emergency back surgery in May.

“This band is like a family. It’s a family business, U2. I am the prodigal son,” Bono told the Olympic stadium crowd. “I would like to thank my brothers for their patience.”

He also thanked fans for an outpouring of well wishes via letters and e-mail.
