Amy Winehouse’s family and boyfriend will be Anderson Cooper’s guests when his new talk show debuts on September 12.

On “Anderson,” the late singer’s father and mother, Mitch and Janis, will sit down for their first interviews since their daughter was found dead in her apartment in July.

“‘Sex And The City’ is to return to our TV screens after producers met in Hollywood last week to discuss the new show,” reports the Daily Mail, which notes, “Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing… a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen.” Really?

According to a “source” for the tab, “Sarah Jessica Parker will be producing. She was worried about doing another film after the bad reaction to the SATC2 movie, but a TV show is definitely something she wants to happen.” Really?

There’s been a lot of speculation about a possible ‘Sex and the City’ prequel to be based on Candace Bushnell’s novels detailing the early lives of the famous female quartet at the center of the HBO series and feature films.

Well, the Daily Mail got tired of waiting for news and decided to fabricate some.

According to the paper, Blake Lively is “rumoured” for the role of Samantha Jones with Emma Roberts as Miranda Hobbes and Selena Gomez as Charlotte York.

Elizabeth Olsen, meanwhile, would take Sarah Jessica Parker’s place as Carrie Bradshaw.

“Sarah Jessica Parker got called for jury duty yesterday, but didn’t appear eager to serve,” reports the New York Post.

The paper says Parker was overheard “griping to another prospective panelist about the better things she had to do than cool her heels in Manhattan federal court,” and reportedly had a few excuses why she couldn’t serve. However, Parker NEVER tried to get out of jury duty, and even tells Gossip Cop that she’s “one of the few who enjoys jury duty.”

Star says it’s “exclusively learned that the ‘American Idol’ host and TV producer is considering a fashion-based reality show that would star the ‘Sex and the City’ babe,” and the tab “hears that SJP is very interested.”
