“Michelle Obama is pregnant,” proclaims the blog CelebDirtyLaundry, picking up on a rumor floated on Twitter and by the fake news site, WeeklyWorldNews.

According to CelebDirtyLaundry, “The White House announced today that first lady Michelle Obama, 46, is pregnant with her third child. President Barack Obama, 49, her husband is ecstatic!” The rumor is false.

What was supposed to be a friendly game of basketball for President Obama and some family members and friends, ended with the commander-in-chief needing 12 stitches to close up a busted lip.

Obama, former college hoops star/current presidential aide Reggie Love, and family members (in Washington, DC for Thanksgiving weekend) took to the court at Fort McNair. But after an elbow connected with the prez’s lip, he was taken back to the White House, where his smacker was sewn up with a dozen stitches.
