Next Tuesday’s guest spot will not take place in Fallon’s midtown Manhattan studio, but rather at the University of North Carolina.

This week, DeGeneres made a surprise appearance (via satellite) at Obama’s Joining Forces Initiative event featuring military families in Jacksonville, Florida.
