Kristen Stewart was born on April 9, 1990 to father John, a producer and stage manager, and mother Jules, a script supervisor and director.
Best known for the “Twilight” franchise, Stewart first followed her parents’ footsteps into Hollywood when she was just eight years old. Her first major movie role came in 2002’s “Panic Room,” alongside Jodie Foster. After a number of other big screen appearances, Stewart was cast as Bella Swan in the film adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s best-selling young adult novel, “Twilight,” opposite Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner. The film’s worldwide success turned Stewart into a global superstar, whose fame continued to rise with each of the subsequent installments, “New Moon,” “Eclipse,” “Breaking Dawn – Part 1,” and Breaking Dawn – Part 2.”
Over the years, Forbes named her both the highest-paid actress, and the best Hollywood actor for the buck. While still committed to the enormously popular film series, Stewart also worked on a smaller, independent movies, such as “Adventureland,” “Welcome to the Rileys,” “The Runaways,” and On “The Road,” as well as the Universal picture, “Snow White and the Huntsman,” in which she played Snow White. She also joined forces with both Balenciaga and Chanel, and, following the Twilight Saga’s end, worked on “Camp X-Ray” and “The Clouds of Sils Marie.” For 2014’s “Still Alice,” Stewart received some of the best reviews of her career.
Projects slated to be released in 2015 include “Equals” and “American Ultra.” Stewart remains notoriously private about her personal life, but has had relationships with Michael Angarano and Pattinson.

Kristen Stewart hit the Cannes Film Festival red carpet with Alicia Cargile for the first time on Sunday. The two, who seemingly are back together, attended the premiere of American Honey.
