In her candid new memoir “A Helluva High Note,” the singer-songwriter and former “American Idol” judge says she was repeatedly molested by a teenage family friend when she was just 11 years old.

“I remember freezing and not knowing what to do,” writes DioGuardi about one incident.

In 2000, after her music industry career began to take off, DioGuardi was also date raped by a “fairly known producer” following a friendly dinner.
