It was a hoax!

Gossip Cop suspected it from the beginning, but that’s what actor-director Casey Affleck is now finally revealing about “I’m Still Here,” the reported “documentary” with Joaquin Phoenix.

After roughly two years of manufactured mystery surrounding Phoenix’s odd behavior and grizzly appearance, Affleck – who directed the film – is proving that appearances can indeed be deceiving.

Speaking to the New York Times, Affleck said of Phoenix, “It’s a terrific performance, it’s the performance of his career.”

Casey Affleck has settled two sexual harassment lawsuits filed by women who worked with him while he directed the Joaquin Phoenix documentary ‘I’m Still Here.’

In July, producer Amanda White and cinematographer Magdalena Gorka separately took legal action against Affleck, whom they accused of erratic and abusive behavior.

A second woman has sued Casey Affleck for sexual harassment, claiming the actor-director climbed into her bed and groped her as she slept.

Cinematographer Magdalena Gorka filed a $2.25 million suit in Los Angeles Superior Court claiming Affleck refused to pay or credit her for her work on “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix” after his allegedly abusive behavior forced her to exit the project.

Mark Ruffalo will play The Incredible Hulk in ‘The Avengers,’ according to a report.

Nothing has been confirmed yet, but it’s a done deal, says Deadline.com.

As Bruce Banner/Hulk, Ruffalo would be taking over for Edward Norton, who played the character in a 2008 film. Eric Bana had the role in 2003.

Producer sues Casey Affleck for sexual harassment

Casey Affleck is being sued for sexual harassment by a producer who worked on his upcoming documentary about his brother-in-law Joaquin Phoenix’s foray into rap. Producer Amanda White is asking for $2 million, claiming that, while working on “I’m Still Here: The Lost Year of Joaquin Phoenix,” Affleck made a number of “uninvited and unwelcome sexual advances.” According to the suit, “On one occasion, Affleck instructed a crew member to take off his pants in order to show [White] his penis, even after [White] objected,” and “he discussed his sexual exploits and those of other celebrities that he allegedly witnessed.” And there are plenty more allegations.
