CBS to Launch Daytime Talk Show Like “The View”

CBS will replace “As the World Turns” with a daily panel talk show similar to “The View.”

Sara Gilbert, Julie Chen, Holly Robinson Peete, Sharon Osbourne and Leah Remini will co-host the new series, which “focuses on topical events through the eyes of moms,” says Deadline.com.

“I didn’t travel this far in this much pain to lose,” Bret Michaels said shortly before Donald Trump declared, “You’re hired!”

Michaels, the crowd favorite, was also assured by Ivanka Trump before being crowned the winner, “You have reason to be here on merit.”

And while the show’s other finalist, Holly Robinson Peete, raised the most money of any previous contestant (ever) in an earlier task, and was called “amazing” by Trump, ultimately Michaels’ won the final project – creating a new Snapple flavor. Gossip Cop has all the emotional details.

Oh no, disgraced Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich, who’s charged with trying to auction off President Barack Obama’s former U.S. Senate seat, is going to be on the next season of “Celebrity Apprentice.” Blago joins 13 other celebrities, including Sharon Osbourne, Bret Michaels and Cyndi Lauper, on the reality competition show, which begins March 14.
