Gary Busey has reportedly filed for bankruptcy.

The actor and reality TV legend has under $50,000 to his name and owes more than $500,000 in debt, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

The onetime “Celebrity Apprentice” contestant filed for Chapter 7 bankruptcy in California on Tuesday, according to the site.

The actor and reality TV star revealed the news during a holiday party in Washington, D.C. on Saturday.

“I’ve never met Newt but I know what he stands for,” Busey told The Hill.

Gary Busey is reportedly being sued for allegedly knocking a woman to the ground at the Tulsa airport last May.

The actor and beloved “Celebrity Apprentice” alum is said to have gotten drunk while waiting for his flight and then hurriedly attempted to cut the boarding line, inadvertently hitting a woman named Carla Loeffler in the process.
