John Legend is not exactly sold on the recent additions to “The X Factor.”

The performer is set to appear on rival singing show “Duets,” and E! asked him — along with fellow “Duets” stars Kelly Clarkson and Robin Thicke — for reaction to the big news that Britney Spears and Demi Lovato have joined “X Factor.”

The former Disney star is said to have nabbed a paycheck just north of $1 million to join the show as a season two judge, compared to Spears’ massive $15 million deal.

Lovato had just allowed the audience to move closer — warning them to “be safe” — when one overly-enthusiastic fan ran up and gave the singer an awkward, unexpected hug.
