Lindsay Lohan’s felony charge has been dropped to a misdemeanor.

Judge Stephanie Sautner just accepted lawyer Shawn Chapman Holley’s request to downgrade Lohan’s felony grand theft charge for allegedly swiping a $2,500 necklace to a misdemeanor in today’s critical preliminary hearing.

Lindsay Lohan is likely to be released from her court-ordered rehab stint early, according to RadarOnline.com.

The prosecutor in Lohan’s case, Danette Meyers, tells the site the actress will probably be freed from her UCLA Medical Center stay before the official 90-day sentence comes to an end.

Judge Marsha Revel, the woman responsible for imposing Lindsay Lohan’s jail sentence and 90-day rehab stay, has removed from herself from the case.

Revel is facing accusations that she contacted “participants and experts” related to the case without notifying lawyers in advance.

Lindsay Lohan has checked into a rehabilitative facility, according to a new report.

Lohan, who must surrender for her jail sentence on or before Tuesday, reportedly arrived at a sober living home Wednesday afternoon.

The facility was founded by famed attorney Robert Shapiro, Lohan’s new lawyer.

4th UPDATE – 8:23 PM – The warrant for Lohan’s arrest has been recalled, because the actress made bail. Her bail was posted at $20,000 (the standard one-tenth of the $200,00 which the judge set).

As of now, Lohan remains free.

However, should she violate the terms of the probation, it’s likely the judge will throw her in jail.
Earlier, Judge Marsha Revel issued the warrant after an emergency meeting in her chambers regarding a reported violation of Lohan’s bail conditions. Lohan’s alcohol monitoring bracelet was triggered on Sunday night…

“At this time, the court finds she was in violation of the conditions of her bail,” Revel determined after meeting with prosecutor Danette Meyers and defense attorney Shawn Chapman Holley.
