The National Enquirer reports that “Rihanna has found a way to get back at her two-timing bad-boy beau Chris Brown — by hooking up with comedian Dane Cook!”

The mag says Rihanna and Cook “have been pals for years, but their friendship has heated up in recent months because Rihanna wants to show Chris that she’s still a hot commodity.”

Dane Cook’s upcoming show “Next Caller” has been dropped by NBC before airing.

The comedian starred as a loud-mouthed satellite radio host in the sitcom, which had already filmed four episodes after being picked up last May and slated for this midseason.

Dane Cook joked about Colorado shooting tragedy during a standup comedy set on Thursday night.

The comedian was performing at The Laugh Factory in Los Angeles when he began talking about last week’s The Dark Knight Rises massacre that left 12 dead and dozens wounded.

The hugely successful standup comedian has signed a deal with the network with the intention of putting together a half-hour show for the 2012-13 television season, according to TVLine.

Dane Cook tweeted late last night that his dog Beast was missing.

He wrote on Twitter, “West Hollywood I need your help please. My dog Beast is missing in that area.” Within hours the lost pooch was found.

Neil Patrick Harris will host this year’s Video Game Awards.

The actor, an avid gamer, stars in the title “Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions.”

He will be joined at the 8th annual VGAs by presenters and attendees including: Tony Hawk, Dane Cook, Olivia Munn, Denise Richards, Guillermo Del Toro, AnnaLynne McCord, Chris Hemsworth, Nathan Fillion, and cast members from “It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia.”

There will be 13 video game world premieres, including those for “Batman: Arkham City,” “Resistance 3,” and “Thor: God of Thunder.”

Dane Cook’s half brother Darryl McCauley, who was sentenced in October for stealing millions of dollars from the comedian, has now been ordered to pay Cook $12 million.

McCauley, once Cook’s business manager, simply wrote checks to himself and deposited the comic’s cash directly into his and his wife’s bank accounts.
