According to Star magazine, “Ginnifer Goodwin is still holding a grudge against Katie Holmes, whom she blames for plunging her ex, Chris Klein, into post-break up depression and alcoholism.”

A “source” for the tabloid explains, “Ginnifer dated Chris right after Katie dumped him and moved on to Tom Cruise. Ginny thinks that the breakup pushed Chris into binge drinking, and she went through hell before finally leaving him herself.”

Katie Holmes reunited with ex-fiancé Chris Klein days after filing for divorce from Tom Cruise, according to Star magazine’s new cover story.

The tabloid says Holmes enjoyed a “Hot Hookup!” and “Secret Tryst” with Klein “before the ink was even dry” on her July 9 settlement with Cruise, having “rekindled her romance” with the man to whom she was engaged in 2005.

Star magazine, which falsely reported that Katie Holmes was pregnant this spring, continues its less than stellar coverage of the actress in a new cover story about her divorce from Tom Cruise.

The tabloid claims Holmes has been back in touch with her ex-fiancé Chris Klein and suggests that the two could reunite romantically.

Chris Klein pleaded no contest to his second DUI on Friday and has already served the minimum four-day stint in jail.

The actor was also sentenced to four years of probation, fines and a mandatory 18-month alcohol education program.

Judge David B. Gelfound could have sentenced Klein to more time behind bars, but acknowledged Klein’s courtroom apology for his behavior and seeming commitment to improvement.
