Candace Bushnell and Charles Askegard, her ballet dancing husband of nine years, have split up.
The “Sex and the City” author filed for divorce on Friday from Askegard, who recently launched the new dance troupe, Next Ballet.
The first signs of trouble came when Bushnell was a no-show at Next Ballet’s premiere performance in New York on November 23.
