Matthew McConaughey’s wife Camila Alves is “terrified” he’s “dieting himself to death!” begins another sensationalized story from the National Enquirer.

The supermarket tabloid says Alves is “worried sick” that her husband, who’s reportedly lost more than 30 pounds to play AIDS victim Ron Woodroof in The Dallas Buyers Club, is “putting his health in jeopardy.”

“Matthew McConaughey’s beautiful wife Camila Alves is terrified that her rail-thin hubby is going to die of a heart attack,” exclaims the National Enquirer, which further alleges that the actor’s “starvation diet could be deadly.”

According to the tab, McConaughey “has embarked on an extreme diet for an upcoming movie role, dropping more than 30 pounds off his nearly 6-foot-frame.”

But Alves, says the magazine, is “deeply worried that Matthew has gone overboard for the role,” and that his diet “could be fatal.”

The longtime couple tied the knot at their Texas home on Saturday night.
