Amanda Bynes made a rare public outing on Saturday, capturing the attention of shoppers at Westfield Garden State Plaza mall in Paramus, New Jersey.

“Someone took a picture of her and she got mad,” eyewitness Josh Freeman tells Celebuzz. “So she took the phone from the kid and literally deleted the picture off of it. She gave it back, she just deleted the picture.”

Bynes, wearing a tattered long, blond wig and sunglasses, was photographed by others trying to cover her face as she carried her small dog.
