The war between Alec Baldwin and the airline industry has taken another twist.

The Association of Professional Flight Attendants (APFA) has requested that American Airlines remove the actor’s sitcom “30 Rock” from its in-flight entertainment offerings following last week’s incident between Baldwin and a Los Angeles-to-New York flight crew.

Avid Twitter-user Alec Baldwin is now finding another outlet to voice his thoughts and opinions.

The actor is teaming with New York public radio to create a show in which he’ll interview fellow entertainers as well as other public figures.

Back in June, Tracy Morgan apologized for his anti-gay rant in Nashville, but on Monday’s “Late Show with David Letterman,” he said it was just all a “big misunderstanding.”

Alec Baldwin took to Twitter to voice his disgust over the execution of Troy Davis, who was put to death last night for allegedly murdering police officer Mark MacPhail in 1989, despite some doubts about his guilt.

The actor (and possible future New York mayoral candidate) unleashed a slew of tweets attacking the Georgia state justice system and used the execution to blast the Bush administration for the Iraqi War. But what really set Baldwin off were tweets from conservative blogger Michelle Malkin.

Cheyenne Jackson married his longtime partner Monte Lapka on Saturday.

The “Glee” and “30 Rock” star tweeted, “It’s official, after 11 years together… Married the best man I’ve ever known,” with a picture of them on a beach in New York, where same sex marriages were recently legalized.

Alec Baldwin is gearing up for a mayoral run in New York, but he’s not ready quite yet.

The actor said he’ll sit out the election in 2013, because he’s still committed to “30 Rock” through the season, which ends next April, and because he would like to enroll in a master’s program in the fall of 2012 in an effort to better educate himself about the office of mayor.

Tracy Morgan returned to Nashville today and formally apologized for anti-gay jokes he made during his stand-up show there on June 3.

“I want to apologize to my friends, my family and my fans, and everyone in every community who was offended with this,” said Morgan, who said he prides himself on using stand-up “to heal” people, not “to hurt.”

“From the bottom of my heart… I apologize.”
