“Barely Speaking” is the title of a piece about Sarah Jessica Parker and Matthew Broderick in In Touch, which is barely accurate.

According to the tab, Parker’s “marriage to Matthew Broderick could be in serious trouble.”

Uh-huh…

In Touch says “one sign of a possible rift was the couple arriving separately at the Academy Awards rehearsal.”

Uh-huh…

The weekly quotes a source adding, “It looked like they steered clear of each other backstage… And they departed separately with separate staff.”

A rep for Parker told Gossip Cop this report “couldn’t be further from the truth.”

But here’s what we also uncovered from a source in the know. The reason Parker and her husband arrived to and left separately from the Oscars rehearsal is that Broderick was supposed to practice at the Kodak Theater 30 minutes before Parker’s rehearsal, and she didn’t want to just hang around waiting there.

And they left separately because, after her rehearsal, Parker headed off to a facial while Broderick had other appointments.

No mystery. No intrigue. No friction.

And that whole thing about them having “steered clear of each other backstage” is also 100 percent wrong.

In fact, because of a hold-up during the rehearsal, Broderick, Parker, Judd Nelson and the show’s producers all hung out together for a long time backstage.

Once again, In Touch is out of touch.
