The National Enquirer claims Usher has been “making moves on Rihanna,” according to an “insider.” ”He calls her at least twice a day and they text all the time,” the source continues, adding that he even sends her flowers “and includes a cute little quote or song-lyric message.” And according to the story, his supposed pursuit is paying off as Rihanna “seems to like him a lot.”

Usher is in the midst of a divorce from Tameka Foster, and Rihanna left an abusive Chris Brown earlier this year. Conveniently for the Enquirer, their “insider” explains that “Rihanna refuses to be seen in public with him in a romantic setting until his divorce is final.”

Or maybe it’s that this “flirting” is fictional, and that’s why you won’t see her with him. Gossip Cop‘s music sources hadn’t even heard a single note about these dubious rumors, and Usher’s rep called them “completely untrue.”

    Spinilli – very funny (“cheating on her fake tabloid relationship.”) And Lara, you couldn’t be more correct. The problem these days is that people try to be “first” at the expense of being factual.
