Wasn’t it beyond heart wrenching to watch Michael Jackson’s 11-year-old daughter sob in front of the thousands assembled at the Staples Center (and millions more watching worldwide)? With her aunts and uncles surrounding her, Paris Jackson told fellow mourners that the King of Pop had been “the best father you could ever imagine, and I just wanted to say I love him so much.”
Apparently it was not tragic enough for the editors of The Daily Mail.
Staffers at the British tabloid doctored photos – one of Jackson’s daughter in tears on stage, and another of her father’s rose-covered coffin several feet below – so that it appeared that the little girl had broken down inches away from her deceased dad.
Gossip Cop finds this type of fake journalism nothing short of criminal.
