Susan Lucci is 100 percent correct. Brian Fronz ruined both shows and his writing team alienated the viewers of One Life to Live when he insisted on ramming a mass gay wedding down the viewers throats. He is incompetent and he has no clue as to what daytime viewers want to see. May his 2 new shows go down the tubes within months ! Hopefully daytime viewers will inundate ABC with complaints and Frons will be terminated. He is a disgrace to the industry !!! As for Susan he will undoubtedly see her resurface on some other show..she is loved by many- especially here in Florida !!

OLTL and AMC were not canceled because of gay weddings. If both shows were as good the last two years as they have been the last 4 months they would not ne canceled. I have watched both since I was a child and think they ate making a huge mistake, but it has nothing to do with gay story lines.

I thought that they were still going to film All My Children and put them Online. What happened to that?

Brian Frons has been a disaster for ABC daytime. Poor Susan. She’ll land on her feet though. I think she’d be great in a sitcom. Are you listening, TV Land?

General Hospital is typically ABC’s top rated soap. I think due to the cancellation of the other 2 their ratings went up.

nope. I stopped watching years ago but for some reason I still keep up with the gossip and ratings and the ratings are in the toilet and the show is about to be flushed. it got as low as 1.5. shocking.

I have been watching AMC on and off since it’s inception. Susan Lucci is anything but lazy-I really don’t understand what you mean about her “phoning in” her appearances. Look,everyone is entitled to their opinion but we are talking soap operas here,not Broadway dramas.

Gay weddings do not ruin soap operas. Many daytime fans are open to different things – including gay weddings. I agree with you on your other points though.

Lucci has contributed more to daytime than almost anyone other Agnes Nixon (The original creator of AMC and OLTL and GH) so your comments are baseless, ill informed and insulting. Lucci makes a valid point, the network set out to destroy all three shows to save money and in order to alienate as few people as possible, they intentionally made them bad, nothing else makes sense if you understand this business, it’e the logical response if you have no soul of course. As for Susan fat pay checks she took a pay cut to keep the soap on the air voluntary btw, she is very talented and i am sure she could have said no and still got paid more money because she is one of the main characters on the show and has been for decades! I have seen her in other movies and she is a great actress, she will have no problem getting work. Soap stars work hard it is a full time job with long hours, so she may take some time off because she wants to not because of lack of work. She is one the hardest working actresses in the industry…and as for Brian he moved the whole soap to the west coast made all of these people actors, actresses, camera men, the people that work in the business office wardrobe people set designers etc. all these people up rooted there families sold there homes to go to the west coast to keep the soap on the air because it was lower production cost…a few months later they here the shows are going to be canceled this man has ruined so many lives in such a hard economy i am not talking so much about the “soap stars” they make good money and i am sure will be fine, I am more talking about the behind the scenes people he played GOD with there lives and set the show up to fail all too keep his job and screw hundreds out of there job, i dont know how he can sleep at night but pay back is a bitch FU Brian hope you loose your job.

I have to agree with susan…any good shows abc has produced are now cancelled…Good bye advertising for ABC you will not have any decent programing to watch!
