I can see buying Suri one of those fantastic treehouses for kids, but really, doesn’t ‘In touch’ know that a housekeeper and nannies run more than $100k???? That is the $1 mill version in the Neiman Marcus Christmas catalog. (only kidding). but, a treehouse, even a fancy one for suri for her birthday, SO WHAT? BUT, I doubt it cost $100k. I know it looks like Suri is over indulged, BUT, we do not see her in the Rags EVERYDAY, just once in a while, every few weeks, and her family is very rich, so yes, Miss Suri will have the ‘nicer things in life’. I, of the lower middle class, CAN ACCEPT THAT with out jealousy, Okay, a little jealousy, but I can deal with it. If I had Tom’s money, my kids would be wearing designer clothes, and seeing Broadway shows, have an Ipad, etc. and I have no doubt most others would do it too.

Spoiled? Honestly, growing up I think every child wanted a tree house and hell who wouldnt want one that is completely badass. If I had as much money as they do, I would build my kiddos that kind of tree house. And I would most certainly being playing in it too!! So for the people out there saying that Suri is spoiled because of a tree house (that according to the site wasn’t even built)…really, come on!! Oh she’s going to be a horrible teenage because she wanted a tree house…Ahhh! I think people take these articles a bit too seriously. Maybe you are remembering the “meltdown” she had a resturant (that rumor was also debunked), but honestly!!! shes a kid…and at a resturant…what child at any point in their life didnt have a meltdown somewhere. If it did happen, who cares?!?! I just wonder about the people who read these and make judgements have kids of their own. If they do, they know kids have tantrums, kids want stuff (doesn’t mean you always give them what they want), and kids need clothes. If you had as much money as they do would you be buying your kids clothes from walmart? I think not. Would you build a “shack” tree house? I think not. And I’m actually sad they didn’t build the tree house, because that would just be awesome!

I built my own tree house. Gave me a sense of accomplishment. Ready made toys are not the way to go.
