Busting bad dish!

CLAIM: Suri Cruise Getting $100,000 Pony and Diamonds for Christmas

Truth rating: 1

(GettyImages)

We hope Suri Cruise doesn’t read In Touch – because the tabloid just promised her a pony for Christmas.

Along with diamond studs and all the “frilly custom-designed dresses” she could ever want!

That’s because, according to In Touch, Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes have “no issue with getting their pampered daughter everything she asks for.”

“Tom and Katie love the holidays and always go overboard to make sure Suri has a magical time,” explains a so-called “family friend,” adding, “They are buying absolutely everything she asked for!”

And this year, her “No. 1 wish is a pony!” claims the In Touch source, adding that Tom Cruise has already been on the search for a $100,000-plus pony, which is on Suri’s list for Santa, along with “diamond earrings and beautiful dresses, like a fairy princess gown.”

Just to be clear: In Touch claims (1) to know exactly what Suri Cruise wants for Christmas and that (2) the 5-year-old gets absolutely everything she wants.

Uh-huh.

A rep for the couple tells Gossip Cop the entire preposterous story is “false.”

In other words, don’t expect to see a diamond-accessorized Suri riding a pony through Beverly Hills come December 25.

Hey Tom & Katie, if you could spend that much for a stupid Pony and diamonds for a child, you may be better off helping those kids who are at this moment dying of starvation and not of their choosing.

  • Guest

    are you helping those kids?

  • Wendywatkins

I doubt this person has the millions that Tom Cruise has. How could they help??

  • Another Guest

No doubt this person has more than those starving kids so why shouldn’t they help? There is always someone with more than another person, we all buy things we don’t necessarily need so we should instead give that money to charity? Giving to charity should be a personal choice with regard to the frequency and amount of donations and not dictated by strangers. Also Tom Cruise most likely already gives a lot to charity, most celebrities do.

It will be interesting in sixteen years what kind of human being Suri, will become. I don’t know what my child would want and I’d buy for her. I’d like to think maybe I would expose her to the real world and maybe she would understand the real reason we spend money and how hard I work to give gifts to make her feel happy. So she gets a pony, why not ask for a big red Land Rover? Daddy can afford it. As for diamonds, she has them now so you need the earrings to match the necklace. No biggie daddy will get and much more. My little girl will get a doll and tea set that’s it. So enjoy all you get Suri.I know my child will,

I am tired of hearing about Suri. Why is it that we don’t hear anything about his two other kids? I see favoritism “big time!”

  • Renee1278

    they’re not his biologicals–that’s why

  • Fiestakema

its better for each of us to mind our own business.
u guys spendind time critizing other families, while none of them even care about you and
are not aware of your existence. shut up and grow up guys

  • Darlingnikkie24

ok, so why at the end of every article is their some rep who says the story is false? I am off from work today and just felt like reading some gossip stories and all of them are made to be false? The irony of it all and what a waste of my time…

  • Darlingnikkie24

yeah, I am sure he figures the actual father will pick up his slack since he left the kids and the mother, obviously.

  • Darlingnikkie24

I am sure as logical parents living in the real world, tom and katie explain to her how much things cost and what it takes to pay for them, just as they help her with her homework and her life decisions.

  • swrdet

    cant they leave them alone

  • blobby32

Maybe if you were minding your business, you wouldn’t have been on here replying to comments…

  • Debbie

  • eLAINE

IM SURE GLAD AFTER THEIE THRU SPOILING HER ROTTEN SHE WILL BE THE MOST SPOILED BRAT IN THE WORLDAND THEN THEY WILL REALLY SUFFER AND THERE LIVES WILL BE MISERABLE.

  • Buslady2k

I have to say that Suri is really lucky to have great rich parents. My 18 yr old granddaughter used to tell My husband grandpa, that when he hits the “Lottery” all she wants is a horse. She’s been saying that since the age of 4. Here she is an 18 yr old, very simple, and just got her 1st job and my husband is still waiting to hit the “Lottery”. LOL Have a great Holiday everyone.

  • liz

you dont need millions to help someone out.

  • JustPassingThru

    @Darlingnikkie24, please define “actual father”.
It is unlikely they ever knew their *biological parents*, if that is what you mean by “actual father”. Tom & Nicole’s children (Connor & Isabella) were adopted at the time of their birth during their marriage to each other. This is not to defend any possible ego-related, manhood-proving issues Tom may have attempted to resolve or appeared to have resolved through fathering a biological child. Posessing viable sperm does not a father, or a man, make! That is determined through reliability and responsible action, not propogating one’s own genetic material – the latter being a very primitive and materialistic (but often popular) way of viewing “manhood”.
Tom was, and still is father to these children, but keep in mind that (1) they live very far away (Australia is a 20+ hour flight from California) and (2) Nicole is now married to Keith Urban and they have two children of their own (Sunday Rose, and the new baby Faith Margaret, via surrogate mother – but Nicole & Keith are the biological parents). While no doubt Tom stays in touch, I’m sure that Keith does a very fine job as the primary care-giving father for Connor & Isabella.
Please do a little research before commenting.

As is true with most celbrity gossip, most of this is just that. Popular journalism thrives on sensationalism. Who wants to read about good parents with an unspoiled, well-adjusted child? No, people want to read about bad and spoiled celebrity brats to feel better about their own situation. There are just as many dysfunctional families and people out of touch with reality in the “real” world. You just rarely hear about them except a few extreme cases.
A big reason we hear about Suri a loti simply because she is here in the US and an easier target for domestic journalists and tabloids.

  • rocky

my, oh my, you’re such a benevolent dad……….puke

  • Anonymous

Are you all serious??? This is a story in a TABLOID. Explains that it’s probably 99% NOT true.

For Darlingnikkie24 you’re expecting GOSSIP to be true you’re upset when the reps are commenting that it’s all false?? Maybe because GOSSIP is never 100% true, hence it being called GOSSIP…. what a concept!

  • Mama2Jude1112

I thought Connor and Isabella lived with Tom’s sister. Has that changed?

  • Ceevie

Actually, Connor and Isabella live with Tom and Katie, not with Nicole and Keith and he is frequently seen out and about with them both. How about you do a little research before commenting?

  • Doors43

A lot of kids ride horses and/or have ponies/horses. My husband had two ponies growing up and he was far from rich. In their case, it’d be impossible for her to have a pony seeing that they live in NYC most of the time, where I don’t recall seeing too many stables around. Even still, it’s none of my business what Suri gets for Christmas. Just like it’s none of their business what my kids get. I couldn’t care less if she gets a pony. Or diamonds. She’s not my kid and it’s not my money.

  • Maddieb3825

I guess they want a spoiled brat oh no don’t thiNk about kids who go to bed without food just buy your daughter a pony that she doesn’t need and diamonds she’s like 5 she will loose those earrings in a week or less
