Tom Cruise Gave Suri $5 Million for Her Fifth Birthday?

“Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes celebrate their little girl’s fifth birthday with sweet treats, flowers, celebrity friends, girly decorations and millions of dollars in cash!” begins a piece in OK!

The tab reports that “while the couple has been making an effort to cut back on spoiling” Suri, her birthday gift this year was “certainly over-the-top.”

According to an “insider” for the tab, “Tom decided to add $5 million” to her trust fund “in honor of her milestone birthday.”

OK! admits Suri’s “$5 million birthday gift” is “extravagant – even by Hollywood standards.”

But if it all sounds unbelievable, there’s good reason.

It’s NOT true.

A rep for Cruise assures Gossip Cop that the OK! tale is “totally untrue and false.”

Maybe OK! should spend more time fact-checking, and less time pumping out inaccurate stories about celebrity spending.
