Sundance Head ‘Love Can Build A Bridge’ “The Voice” Video: Watch Top 8 Performance!
Sundance Head performed “Love Can Build A Bridge” on Monday’s “The Voice.” Watch below!
As Gossip Cop has reported, Head has become an unexpected season 11 favorite over the last two weeks of the NBC competition. He first gained momentum with a reworked version of Alicia Keys’ “No One,” and then stunned last week with a bluegrass-infused take on “Me And Jesus.” The intense vocal performance amazingly went all the way to number one on the iTunes singles chart, a rare achievement for a contestant.
Now Head opted to follow that up with a classic country ballad from The Judds for his Top 8 performance. Blake Shelton’s lone remaining artist explained in rehearsal that the track was his coach’s “idea.” Head noted, “The song is country music royalty, and I want to do it justice for them.” He was given a boost of confidence via none other than Wynonna Judd herself, who placed a special phone call to the aspiring star.
Judd would probably be quite proud of the live performance Head ended up giving. The panel was quite proud, too, with all four coaches responding with a standing ovation. Carson Daly asked Shelton what he was thinking afterward, and the country superstar responded, “I think everything great right now. What can you say about Sundance anymore?! It blows my mind.”
Shelton went on to say, “This is really happening right now. This could not have been any better.” Check out the video below!
