Suge Knight: Target Of Ambush?
Suge Knight may have been the target of an ambush when he hit and killed a man and injured another last month in Los Angeles following an altercation on the set of a promotional shoot for the movie Straight Outta Compton. Knight’s camp says it has secured surveillance footage that shows Cle “Bone” Sloan pointing a gun at the hip-hop mogul shortly before the hit-and-run that killed Terry Carter and left Sloan badly hurt.
The video has not surfaced online, and there are conflicting interpretations as to whether Knight will be hurt or helped by it. The footage reportedly shows Sloan and another man holding guns during the fight that preceded the deadly hit-and-run. In the clip, after Knight has run over Sloan and Carter, an unidentified man allegedly takes the gun from Sloan’s hand and leaves.
Knight’s camp says it believes Carter was involved in setting up Knight for an ambush. However, the outlet cites law enforcement sources who say the footage will actually help the case against Knight. Without the video being available to view, it’s difficult to say exactly what new information it provides. But until this point, it was believed the surveillance camera at the Tam’s Burgers parking lot was not working. Apparently, it DID work after all, and was filming at the time of the hit-and-run. Gossip Cop will have updates.
