Story that Jennifer Lopez daughter has half a million in jewelry does not bling true

In a cover story titled, “Billion Dollar Babies!” – about the pampered children of celebrities – Star magazine quotes an unnamed source, who claims Jennifer Lopez “is a jewelry nut, and she’s bought [two-year-old daughter] Emme alone about $500,000 worth of jewels.”
But Lopez hasn’t just lavished Emme with “gold bracelets galore, diamond earrings and a tennis bracelet covered in half-carat diamonds,” reports the Star. According to the supermarket tab, Jennifer also “insists” on dressing her daughter and twin son Max in designer clothing.
Says the same so-called Star source, “Some of Emme’s outfits cost $1,000 a pop,” and the tot “rarely wears the same thing twice.”
Gossip Cop investigated, and while it’s true Lopez dresses her kids nicely, those price tags are way off, and the claim of a half-million dollar jewelry collection, says an insider, is “ridiculous.”
Another source super close to Lopez and husband Marc Anthony called the Star‘s reporting “bulls**t.” And a rep for Lopez called the story “not true.”
