Stevie Wonder Target of Extortion Plot

Stevie Wonder was the target of a failed extortion plot.

Alpha Lorenzo Walker, who says he’s the singer’s nephew, and his girlfriend Tamara Eileen Diaz, have been charged with allegedly trying to shake down Wonder.

The pair sought $5 million in hush money after threatening to go to the tabloids with a story about how Walker was the child of an incestuous encounter between Wonder and the musician’s sister.

Walker was arrested in L.A. on May 2 after believing he was going to get (a much lower) $10,000 from Wonder’s reps — instead he was greeted by the police.

The two defendants are next expected in court on May 16, a D.A. spokesperson confirms to Gossip Cop.

As for the incest allegations, TMZ says they’re “completely bogus.”

    You’ve got to be really low down and dirty when you try and take advantage of a blind man. Stevie Wonder is an icon, a musical genius, and these two nobodies, want what he has worked for since he was a teenager. Instead of trying to do whatever you can to possibly help the man, your dumb asses hatch a stupid plan to take the man to the cleaners. Common sense would have told you, he’s blind, not stupid, such as yourselves.
