Stevie Starr “America’s Got Talent” Video: Regurgitator Swallows Razor Blade, Gets Standing Ovation — WATCH!
Stevie Starr received a standing ovation for swallowing, and then regurgitating, a razor on Tuesday’s “America’s Got Talent.” Watch below!
Starr calls himself a “professional regurgitator,” and has been performing for 30 years. He was one of Heidi Klum’s favorite acts from the first round, after he swallowed, and then spit up, a light bulb for his initial audition. Now Starr was upping the danger, so much so that a disclaimer appeared on screen.
The contestant announced he would swallow a tiny tomato, then a razor blade. He then vowed to use his stomach muscles to cut the tomato into two halves, and then regurgitate it back up, blade and all. And by golly, he did it!
But Starr wasn’t done. He then swallowed some dollar coins, each marked with a letter, and based on the order picked by the judges, was able to bring each one back up correctly. And he STILL wasn’t done, but we won’t spoil the last part of the performance, which led to a standing ovation from Klum and Howie Mandel.
Klum gushed afterward, “I wanna hit another Golden Buzzer! I do. You have to go to the live shows! You are so unique. You’re so different. I don’t think there’s anyone in the world that can do what you do.” Guest judge Piers Morgan then quipped, “If I’d have known Heidi was this easy to please, I would’ve become a regurgitator years ago.”
Morgan went on to call Starr “repulsive” and “disgusting,” but “utterly” captivating. Indeed, Mel B noted, “What can I say? You’re a really nice person with a disgusting act that’s really entertaining.” And Howard Stern declared, “There’s no one who does an act like yours. This is what I love about ‘America’s Got Talent.'”
At the end of the episode, Starr found out he was one of the night’s seven acts who made it through to the live shows at Radio City Music Hall. Check out the video below, and tell us what YOU think.
